Gillford Cabin is a lovely and private two-bedroom, two-bath Log Home situated along a small stream inside the gates of Riverbend at Lake Lure.

A large, wrap-around deck and covered front porch provide the perfect relaxed atmosphere for your morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or a family meal. Rockers are located on the covered portion of the deck, while the side is furnished with a table & chairs, an umbrella, and a gas grill. The kids will love playing in the creek while you watch and mingle on the deck. The sound of the water will delight you!

Entering the cabin's main level, the living room with cathedral ceilings also features a gas fireplace and a flat-screen television with satellite TV. The dining area and the beautiful, fully equipped kitchen are just off the living room. Also on this level is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and the master bath with a tub/shower combination & double sink vanity. Another half bath/powder room is also on the main level, just as you start up the staircase.

The cabin's upper level is home to the guest bedroom with a queen bed, a guest bath with a tub/shower combination, a double sink vanity, and a small reading nook.

"Riverbend at Lake Lure" is a private gated community with two private lakes (Big Mirror Lake & Little Mirror Lake) that allow for canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats (no motorized boats except electric), private access to the Broad River, picnic areas, gazebos, pavilions, hiking trails, beach area, swimming, fishing, and BBQ grills for your enjoyment. There’s an “Old Swimming Hole” along the river and a lovely Nature Walk where you can picnic and enjoy the community waterfall.

This community is only 6 miles from downtown Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village, where you’ll find something for everyone!

LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, SHUMONT LAKE, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.
Parking for three vehicles.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime after.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.
