Riverbend Subdivision 140 Bunting Lane

Turtle Cove is a cozy, family friendly cabin waiting to make you vacation dreams a reality. Located on Little Mirror Lake in the desirable Riverbend Sudivision, it has a full kitchen and eat-in dining table that will hold 8 people. Right off the kitchen is the den, which features a gas fireplace, a 50-inch TV, and seating for 7 people. On the main floor, Turtle Cove offers a primary bedroom (with a queen size bed) with an en suite bathroom, walki-in closet, and a jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom features a queen size bed and a full bath next door. Just upstairs is a spacious loft area with two futons that fold out to queen size beds. The loft also has a half bath and a gaming system. The back deck overlooks Little Mirror Lake with an awesome view of the private dock. We have two kayaks and a canoe for your boating pleasure. The basement offers more fun for our younger guests. It features a foosball table, a ping pong table and a small pool table. There is a second gathering area with a large sectional sofa with a large TV and another full size bathroom. The bottom deck offers more views of the lake and direct access to the dock. It also has a hammock in which you can just enjoy the peace of the neighborhood or read a good book. Before leaving the basement to head to the dock, visitors have multiple lifevests to choose from in children adult sizes. Your safety is of utmost importance to us.
Riverbend has its own private beach for guests staying in the neighborhood. There is also a swimming area in which you can enjoy the water from the Broad River. There is also a hiking trail and a waterfall in the neighborhead across from the beach. The Lake Lure area offers scenic boat tours, tennis, golf, horseback riding, biking, fishing, and lakeside restaurants. Nearby attractions include Chimney Rock Park, Flat Rock Playhouse, Main Street Hendersonville, antiquing in Black Mountain, Asheville and Biltmore Estate & Winery, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina Arboretum, Great Smokey Mountain National Park, Grandfather Mountain, Cradle of Forestry and many more mountain vacation activities.

Happy to be back

We have stayed here before and couldn’t wait to come back, and it did not disappoint. Felt like Home from the moment we arrived. Great communication with the host who suggested some different places that we can explore. House has everything you can think of and more. Truly enjoyed the lake and the use of the kayaks and tubes. This cabin is our family’s favorite lake vacation spot with its peaceful views, lovely swimming, and canoeing perfection. The owners are thoughtful and quick to help with any issue, and they are continually upgrading their property. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need and the Riverbend community is located in a spectacular natural landscape.

Beautiful lake home

This is our second time coming. The home is very clean , the beds are super cozy. The amenities are great and new dock and stairway are beautiful. We love the kayaks and soaking up the sun on the dick while the kids fish or jump into the lake. We wil be back next year .

Best relaxing Vacation ever

I had an excellent time with my daughter and grandkids. We enjoyed the cabin so much as well as the dock and water equipment you supplied . Nothing else left to desire . Turtle Cove Cabin

We have stayed at Turtle Cove cabin for many summers and always feel so happy to be there overlooking the beautiful lake, swimming and paddling every day and simply relaxing on the cabin’s covered deck with views of the water through the light filled trees. Everything that you would need to enjoy yourself is already there at the cabin and the owners are such thoughtful and responsive people. There is no other place we would rather be in the summer!

Feels Like Your Own Private Lake

Excellent location with tons of amenities. House was well stocked and spacious. Private dock provided excellent memories swimming and fishing for the family. 10 minutes to the grocery store and Lake Lure. Highly recommend.

Great stay.

The cabin is extremely spacious. Everything we needed was there or close by. We enjoyed the small dock and the lake view. There was so much to do nearby. Beautiful swimming areas on the lake and a small waterfall on the creek. Great restaurants nearby and a grocery store. The place is only 32 miles from the Biltmore estate and a few minutes from Chimney Rock. We will be back.

Amazing cabin

We enjoyed this cabin so much! It was the perfect spot for our friends and family to gather for our birthdays. My 3 year old was super comfy with all the family friendly games, rafts, floats and life jackets. We loved having our own lake out the back deck for swimming, floating and fishing. The neighborhood also has a private little beach area and a great little river area. It was amazing!!!

Exceeded expections

We were so happily thrilled with this home and it's location. There was plenty of space (more than we needed). The host thought of everything and had everything we could have thought of. We felt as if we were home. Very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The host answered us immediately and was very kind and helpful (we couldn't find the house because we forgot the original instructions) haha Can't wait to visit again!

Peace on Little Mirror Lake

We have stayed at this cabin five times in July and plan to come again as it is such a peaceful place where we were often the only ones swimming or paddling the canoe on the lake. The owners are so thoughtful and responsive and the Lake Lure area is unusually beautiful with so many things to do from hiking to gem mining to water skiing. The house is well equipped with all you need for cooking, paddling both a canoe and kayak and games like pool, football and table tennis. We live staying at this cabin, as does our family!

Wonderful vacation

We loved this property. Loved being right on a small lake with a dock and water toys. We took advantage of the awesome covered decks and game room as we had lots of rain. Very well equipped kitchen and super comfortable beds. Nice relaxing vacation. We will definately be back.

Absolutely loved the house and the community that it was in. The house had everything that we could possibly think of to have on vacation. Just what we needed

This cabin is great for a family trip to the lake! So wonderful to have the lake, kayaks and canoe right there. And game room was fun. Beds were comfy and having 3 full bathrooms plus a half bath in loft was a real bonus. Had an amazing time there simply enjoying the views of the lake, wildlife and peace!

The owners were very kind and accommodating. We stayed for Christmas and they had the whole cabin decorated inside and out, with a Christmas tree. The house was also well stocked with anything we might’ve needed. We would love to stay there again!

Golden Anniversary in the Mountains

My wife, myself and one of our granddaughters celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful, very home-like and in a great natural location. We were very impressed how well stock the house was that including everything we needed and more. My wife commented how she had purchased many of the same vases for our home. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. The check in/out process went very smoothly.
