The Muskoka Room
One of our favourite places in the entire cottage is the screened Muskoka room overlooking the forest.
Start your morning here with a hot cup of coffee while listening to the trees and birds. Spend a rainy afternoon reading, talking or playing games, or settle in during the evening as the forest becomes quiet around you.
In fall, the surrounding trees transform into beautiful shades of red, orange and gold.

Other things to note
You're Staying in Cottage Country
Part of the beauty of Muskoka is being surrounded by nature. Wildlife is common in the Lake of Bays area, and guests may occasionally encounter deer, squirrels, chipmunks, insects and other wildlife around the property.
Please never approach, touch or feed wildlife, and always supervise children outdoors.
Keep food and garbage properly secured, as food can attract animals.
Winter Weather
This is a true four-season Muskoka property, which means snow, ice and rapidly changing winter conditions are possible.
During winter stays, guests should arrive prepared for cottage-country driving conditions. Appropriate winter tires and a suitable vehicle are strongly recommended when conditions require them.
Snow clearing is performed as needed, but snowfall can occur quickly and conditions may change between service visits. Outdoor surfaces, decks, steps, parking areas and walkways may remain slippery despite snow removal.
Please use appropriate footwear and take extra care during winter conditions.
Rural Services & Power Outages
Like many properties in cottage country, severe weather, storms or other circumstances outside the host's control can occasionally result in temporary power, internet or utility interruptions.
While uncommon, these situations can happen in rural Muskoka and may take time for the appropriate utility or service provider to resolve.
BBQ & Outdoor Areas
Guests are welcome to enjoy the BBQ responsibly. Outdoor amenities are weather-dependent, and availability or accessibility may be affected by snow, ice, storms, maintenance or other seasonal conditions.
