Family oriented, comfortable central accommodation

Pros: The rooms are a good size, beds & pillows are comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and ideal for one diabetic guest.
Cons: An allocated parking space for each room please. We had a difficult time parking close to our rooms when we returned from a trip out.
Location: Central location. Walking distance to the Gondola, shops, restaurants & casino's for an average walker. (not knee or hip handicaps).
This was a family trip to take our grandson to see the snow for the first time.

Weekend Getaway

Pros: Proximity to casinos, restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Some of the fixtures, finishes and surfaces in the room exhibited a need for maintenance. Generally the issues noted were cosmetic.
Location: Take a ride on the Heavenly Gondolas or take a leisurely drive sightseeing around Lake Tahoe.
The hotel is located in South Lake Tahoe near "Stateline" and a block from US 50. Parking is available on-site at no charge. The front desk was well staffed and there was no wait to check-in. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel offers amenities including a pool. A continental breakfast is provided. The hotel charges an additional resort fee. The hotel is within walking distance of area casinos, restaurants and shopping opportunities. If you book a room with a kitchen, note that there is a grocery store nearby. The walk to Heavenly Gondolas is about 250 yards and about 600 yards to the nearest casino at Stateline.

Switched on us

Was supposed to get a room with a king bed, but when we checked in was told they only had a room with two twin beds. Said we could upgrade to a two bedroom suite for $160 more. Bed sagged in the middle and pillows were hard as a rock.

Wouldn't stay again

Beds are horribly uncomfortable. My bathroom was dirty. Old hotel. Breakfast was gross. Good location and room space.

Very convenient and close to the action

Pros: Convenient to south shore activities and venues. Hot breakfast included.
Cons: There is nothing worse than watching TV that is not HD on an HD capable TV.
Location: Great restaurants, Harvey's outdoor arena, casinos,
We had a 1 bedroom suite. Swear it was a former apartment complex due to the number of closets. It is slightly dated but it clean and we had a ton of room. Staff was helpful when we figured out we were missing a shower curtain. families were using the BBQ's and there were group activities going on but they were not too invasive to our experience. We choose a free bottle of wine to forgo maid service on our second day. They said it was about being 'green' but really it was about labor due the huge number of extra towels they gave us. We will go back!

I was under the impression that it had been recently remodeled, It was clean, but the toilet had to hold down to flush, the closet doors kept coming off the track, everything out dated, very small, & old, we won't be going back.

Started out as a complete disaster.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: i put most of them in my review
I reserved a 2 bedroom ADA suite to take my parents for their birthdays. My parents trip was delayed a day - thank goodness! I checked in at around 9:00 pm. Guy at the desk was really nice. I got my room key and entered a building that smelled like an old, 100 year old apartment building and had an even older elevator. Needless to say, the suite was not ADA accessible. I got put into another non-ADA suite but on the first floor - 2 steps up into the unit which my dad would have had a hard time negotiating, no walk in shower with seat - just a little one that wouldn't have fit a seat let alone a walker. When I called the desk again, I was told that management had put a hold on the 2 bedroom ADA suite for renovations but he would see in the morning if they could open one. I left my things in the car and slept on the couch the first night. They did eventually put me in a 1 bdrm ADA suite and another 1 bdrm non-ADA suite down the hall that looked remodeled and didn't smell. In the ADA suite, the microwave was broken, one of the burners didn't work, there was no oven - just a toaster oven. no drawers or shelves in the bathroom sink area or room to put anything, and no where to sit or put your clothes when you showered - so the extra suite ended up being a blessing. The parking lot was difficult to negotiate due to the way they allowed cars to park, furniture from rooms being remodeled were sitting out all over, and moving trucks were blocking the way.
