We apologize the resorts is not to your standards. The panel for the fire alarm did detect smoke in the building. We do take these alarms very seriously and the safety of our guests and employees is a priority. Once the fire department was able to clear the building everyone was able to return to their unit.

Liked the game room, unique swimming pool, proximity to the lake and shopping. Everything was good!

Everything went smooth

Room is clean though it’s a bit tight for a family. We checked in at twelve noon and everything went well, except the front desk lady somehow not happy to change your mind for room adjustment, maybe she’s tired or stressed I can let it pass. Overall, we did have a good experience, the only downfall is their limited self parking space- though they have a free valet parking nevertheless if you have small kids you might like to reconsider. All staffs are friendly but be careful with their marketing strategy- we haven’t checked out yet then here’s my wife paying a package deal BOOM! Some of the yelp reviews helps.

Sales people hijacked our stay

Pros: Lake Tahoe
SALES PEOPLE IN THE LOBBY WOULD NOT LET YOU WALK BY WITHOUT TRYING TO SELL YOU SOMETHING. THEY CALLED OUR ROOM. We mentioned that we are not interested, but every time we were in the lobby they would try to aggressively offer something, there was NO way going past them without being engaged in a sales conversation. This was really upsetting, because we just wanted to relax and ski, and this ruined the whole stay. I'm writing now b/c I STILL GET PHONE CALLS FROM THEIR SALES ORGANIZATION. Would not recommend to stay b/c it felt like we were in a time share in Mexico.

Short Stay, but very nice!

Pros: I really like how quiet it was in our room. There was a larger family staying right next door, but we didn't hear them at all.
We only stayed for one night as we were traveling from California to Utah, but the hotel was very nice and I couldn't believe how close it was to the lake beach. I would love to come back during the summer to spend time by the lake. We also really enjoyed the little Bar & Grill located in the hotel. It was perfect for dinner!

Good location, Bad parking

Pros: At the bottom of the ski run blvd. Price was OK for weekday at the end of ski season.
Cons: more elevators, more staff, more self parking, more amenities. Checkout Marriott timber lodge for what I mean.
Location: Not much, only a few over priced restaurant at walking distance, you need to drive to casino area. There is a small marina area on lake itself.
Self parking was full on a weekday?!! Bartender was nice but he was the only bartender who serves both restaurant and the bar area when hotel is full. Don't get sucked in to the sales pitch at concierge desk. Only one elevator which was not enough.

Nice hotel, close to marina and casinos

Pros: Proximity to area ski resorts. Pool and hot tub. Rooms were nice. Staff was helpful when it came to calling taxis, getting car out of valet parking
Cons: A hotel shuttle would be great.
Location: Less than a two mile walk to casinos and Heavenly shopping, even my 9 year old didn't mind walking. Right on Lake Tahoe.
Hotel was clean, indoor and outdoor hot tub and pools were nice. Restaurant and bar on site was reasonable and good. Beautiful view of the lake and also not a bad walk to get to shopping at the Heavenly Gondola and Casinos. Had read other reviews about pushy staff regarding timeshare. Didn't find that to be true, they offered some deals which we turned down, but they weren't obnoxious about it.

Nice resort hotel. Comfortable room.

Pros: Location of hotel is great. While not in the Village it is close to everything with some good restaurants close by. The room was comfortable.
Cons: The resort constantly hounds you to attend their timeshare presentation. That is annoying. The dining room chairs are too short for the tables.
Location: Close to restaurants and the lake. Heavenly is very close by.
Nice resort. We had a one bedroom suite and it was comfortable and well equipped. The room was quiet and easy to get to.
