Peace and Seclusion - at Pair-A-Dice Cove in Beautiful Lake Toxaway.

Prepare for a vacation defined by tranquility and privacy. Pair-A-Dice Cove is a newly renovated (2022) three-bedroom, two-bath lakefront retreat that comfortably sleeps six.

Set in a quiet, secluded cove, this thoughtfully designed home showcases breathtaking long-range lake views stretching across Lake Toxaway.

Inside, the home is beautifully finished with custom details and elegant furnishings. Original artwork from the homeowner’s collection adds a refined, personal touch throughout.

The living room offers a serene place to unwind after a day on the water, featuring an impressive stacked-stone fireplace, Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV. The newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a gas range, and a six-person dining table, making meal preparation both effortless and enjoyable.

The expansive lakeside covered porch provides yet another inviting gathering space, complete with a second dining table for al fresco meals. Adirondack rockers offer the perfect vantage point for sunrise views, relaxation, and quiet moments spent taking in the sweeping lake panorama.

The primary suite features a king bed, television, and a fully renovated spa-style bathroom. The additional bedrooms offer queen and full beds, while the hall bath includes double sinks and a tub/shower combination.

Pair-A-Dice Cove sits on a beautifully manicured property with its own private dock. Spend your days sunbathing, lounging by the fire pit, fishing, or enjoying the included kayaks, canoe, and paddleboard.

Three-bedroom, two-bath lakefront home. Sleeps up to six (including children). Features a fireplace, television, Wi-Fi, and direct lake access.

Optional access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club is available April–November (daily resort and usage fees apply).

Please note that trailered boats are not permitted on Lake Toxaway. Rentals of boats, canoes, paddleboards, and more are available through the Lake Toxaway Marina by phone or online.

It was immaculately maintained and is tucked in a spot where you can enjoy the lake but still have a little oasis and privacy. We rented a boat and paddleboards at the marina and used them to go back and forth to The Greystone and club. I especially loved paddle boarding with our kids in this section of the lake because we didn't have to worry about boaters too much. Very calm. The house felt special and we would love to rent this home for many years to come!

The view of the lake down the cove is just stunning. Gorgeous kitchen fully stocked for people that cook. Yay! Lovely decor. Comfy bed and bedding. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Stayed four nights w adult kids. Loved by all.

Our only mishap was somehow the gas stove stopped working. Fortunately, the kitchen is well-stocked with a crock pot and an electric griddle, so we just had to adjust our menu. Rachel was very responsive to this issue, but found herself at the mercy of the gas company. Everything was very clean. The area is beautiful!

From the minute we entered the gravel driveway we felt the serenity of this special place, The home was furnished with all the amenities one could want: first class kitchen, new washer and dryer, beautiful stone fireplace and comfy beds. We loved having early morning coffee on the large covered deck and often lunch as well. We really enjoyed the ample living and dining areas that accommodated our whole family. But the views of the lake and the peaceful setting of this special home made us start thinking about when we might be able to return to Happy Bear Cove.

Time away from COVID 19

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having rented this home several years ago, we knew what to expect, and were not disappointed the second time. This time, we had an 18 month old with us and the long back porch with the locking gate was just perfect for outside play while we rocked away. We always appreciate the well stocked kitchen as we brought every bit of food for meals and snacking so we’d not have to encounter a grocery store. Ok..there was a beer run at some point ! Our concerns of note to the owner would include that there was no coffee pot . There was a French press pot which doesn’t quite help the fact with 4 coffee drinkers. We’d heat water up in a pan ( no tea kettle) and pour it into the press. There was a kuerig machine , but we weren’t told to bring pods for that. The other concerns are as follows: the dock has some weak boards which our son’s foot found and got injured so that needs immediate attention, esp if someone is down there in the evening. The other concern is that your watering system goes off every day around 3:30 but the water just spurts from the head and doesn’t spray. Hate to see that wastefulness and your nice gardens get nothing. We will return again some day to Happy Bear Cove, and thank you for cleaning it in Covid free style. LB
