Had a lovely overnight stay in Sandbar hotel on route to Sydney. Friendly staff at check in and little extras like cookies, personal hand written note and little gifts to take with you were an added touch. Facilities in room were perfect and bed very comfortable for an overnight stay. Room well equipped if you want to make breakfast or light meals.

For a last minute booking, we were pleasantly surprised. It was affordable, clean, with a comfortable bed, pillows and linen. The added touches of homemade cookies with a handwritten note, face cloths for makeup removal and a hair wrap,were so appreciated as was the surprisingly affordable mini bar.

You can tell it’s an older motel but it was a wonderful place to stay. It’s easy to see the care and thoughtfulness in the design of the room and the little extras like homemade cookies on arrival ☺️

Pleasant stay

Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Greeted with home made cookies and nice note. Very pleasant if anything was requested. Within walking distance to the beach and town. Really enjoyed our stay. A little dated but that’s fine. It was clean and comfortable. That’s what matters. Very nice people.

The motel welcome us with a surprised home made cookies. So gratedful for the little gift.Great way to win more customers! Tableware are well chosen just as the expresso coffee machine, feeling home away from home... There are plenty of dining options close by . We also enjoyed the walk along the lake , right in front of the motel. The only downside is the bed size is a bit small for us.

Perfect Stay

They say the little touches make all the difference. That was true for this one night stay. Home made cookies awaiting you in the room on arrival, chilled water in the fridge and various other souvenirs for you to take with you. Nice! Great location clean room with great falicities.

Great stay

Although , the hotel was built in the 90’s the new owners have really made an effort to modernise the rooms . Very clean and bright good quality linen, full crockery and cutlery sets . Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, great kettle . Well worth the stay. Good location, you can walk to beach shops pub etc.

This motel is an older motel but the owners have made it cozy and clean. A little note is left welcoming you to your room with some homemade cookies. The room also includes dishware and silverware, coffee and tea as well as an nespresso machine and a kettle. Perfect room for the night.
