The food was horrible as it was my birthday and the room wasn’t as clean for $600. We opened the door at 8 am as there was about 2 inches of snow as we were heading to breakfast. We packed and went to check out. No plow as we were in the Cove which is a hill. Trying to leave was scary cause the hill to leave was steep and not salted not plowed. First and last trip up there Horrible birthday ever

We were put in the wrong room. Expedia allowed us to believe that the room was the Champayne tower room we were getting once we arrived it was a lower grade room. After explaining the mix up, we were upgraded to the Champayne tower room after waiting for hours for the upgrade we were met with a room with no hot water, were unable to utilize the Champayne jacuzzi tub. We spent a full day without a room, then place in a room that wasn’t operable. We are commanding a refund back from Expedia. Cove Haven refunded the money we paid upon arrival. We had the worst anniversary in the history of our 21 years together with this experience. We should not only be refunded but given the opportunity of two free nights due our anniversary being ruined.
