Escape to this enchanting ‘hobbit style’ cabin with a private hot tub and enclosed garden. It’s a perfect hideaway for a small family or couples who are seeking a completely dog-friendly holiday in Southern Scotland. Nestled in a wonderful position within the grounds of a working farm, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing break and explore the beautiful countryside and historic towns of Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders. Enjoy a dog walk around the surrounding forests or a shorter woodland walk with the family around the farm where you can meet the sheep, goats and alpacas. Alternatively, why not try one of the many other local activities including cycling, horse-riding, and trout fishing at the nearby trout fishery located at Tinto Hill? If you’re feeling up to it, you can climb to the top and admire the stunning views across the Clyde Valley and beyond. Visit the historic market town of Biggar (5.5 miles) for local shops, cafes, and eateries.

A thoughtfully designed open-plan lounge/kitchen space is the heart of this gorgeous cabin, and creates a sociable area for guests and your dogs to relax. The kitchen is well-equipped to create a lovely meal, and there is a table and chairs for dining together. Relax and watch a film on the Smart TV or snuggle down and read a good book with views overlooking the open fields. A door leads from the open-plan kitchen area to a light and spacious king-size bedroom, which leads to a wet room.

An enclosed area outside has artificial turf and seating and is where you will find the private hot tub overlooking the open fields and woodland. There is a shared grass area surrounding the farm’s six cabins which all overlook a large, unfenced pond that you are welcome to enjoy, as well as an indoor BBQ hut which is available to hire directly with the owners. Perfect for your canine companions is the off-lead exercise field – a brilliant space for them to explore and run freely.
