We called prior to the football game asking if it was ok for a late check-in, for the game didn’t start until 7pm. We were assured it would be fine, that there would be staff at the front desk 24/7. Upon arrival, we were told that the shift, prior to the current, gave our 2 queen beds to someone else, switching us to 2 twin beds. We paid upfront for 4 adults. They apologized and said they thought we only had 2 adults and the prior shift reported that they were balanced. Assuming, everyone has a bed for the hotel. The staff on hand did manage to find us a room 10 minutes away and paid for it, but it completely ruined our plans and we were extremely disappointed.

Great property & front desk, housekeeping staff. Valet parking a bit complicated, not well explained by attendant or front desk staff. Valet attendants not friendly, in their room on their phones, never offered to carry bag or open the door. They are a bad first & last impression of a pretty cool property!

I really like the location of this hotel, its walkable distance to restaurants and MSU campus. I also liked the rooftop bar/lounge area. My only complaint is the parking. Valet is a huge ripoff! 35 bucks to park! Or use the public parking ramp nearby ranging 12-20 dollars a night. That’s the only downfall to this property.

Filthy room

Have stayed here before and it’s been great. This time however, checked in to dirty room, crumbs in sheets, personal belongings to previous guests still in room! When I told reception, they promised to have room cleaned and one night refunded. They didn’t. Came back to dirty room with only half the towels replaced. No toilet paper, garbage still full, beds not made (so same dirty sheets!!). Also the TV didn’t work. Reception brought us towels and didn’t acknowledge that room was still a mess. No apology, so we got to stay in dirty room again. I even showed them photos!

Love love love! Really enjoyed being right off campus and able to walk all around MSU when visiting my daughter through her college years. Love this property! Highly recommend!
