Mostly excellentâbut significant WiFi issues
The property is spectacular, great location for both Vegas and desert sightseeing. The owner stocks the fridge with beverages and provides every kitchen amenity. But given its outward magnificence and its price, we would have expected more from some of the mechanical systems. Most significantly, the Wi-Fi was incredibly unstable and for the last three days totally unavailable. That meant we could not work from the property or use the televisions which were all Internet dependent. The host was immediately responsive when we asked for WiFi help, but ultimately unable to fix it. Little things also contributed to a less than excellent rating. Quite a few lights needed their bulbs replaced so that there were dark areas of the house. The household HVAC and lighting systems were complex and didnât seem to work properlyâ written instructions would have been helpful. There were zones of the house that were freezing and did not respond when we tried to adjust the temperatures so just turned off the AC in those zones. Really this property is so close to a five star rating â the owners just need to step it up a little.
