Nice, but not nice
If you have transport, this accommodation is well located on the hill in West Launceston. The rooms are as described (no kitchen) and the bed is very comfortable. However, the accommodation is a divided house. We were kept awake until 11:43pm by the noise and vibrations of the tenants behind talking loudly and laughing. It appears that separation between the units has been achieved by placing a bookcase in front of a hall way door. No sound insulation. The disturbance occurred on both nights we stayed, the second night it lasted 3 hours. We felt cheated of our sleep and my wife later told me she felt afraid.I will not return and cannot recommend this accommodation to you
Well appointed property in a nice location . High standard of furnishings and fixtures . Good experience and would return .

Short and sweet
We only stayed a couple of days but the property has a lovely old-world charm, both roomy and cosy. Will definitely stay again.

very tidy great area, would stay again
my only small criticism was we stayed 6 nights but only had 6 or 8 coffee pods for 2 of us for this time and 4 toilet rolls, but its minor just maybe when people are staying for this amount of time add a little extra 🙂

Lovely space in a lovely central spot
Enjoyed three nights here. Very spacious and clean rooms. Short drive to the city and surrounds. Thank you Judy 😊
We were only there for the weekend and didn't hire a car. This cottage is beautiful and perfect for a short stay. No kitchen however microwave, fridge, toaster and toaster oven were supplied. The cottage is charming very clean and comfortable. Although it is walking distance to cafes and restaurants, they are approx 1.5 klm away and Duke Street has an incline. Too much for my husband to walk. Owner was very quick to communicate. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. In fact, we did recommend this cottage to other family members who are visiting for a short stay.

Huge King Bed
Very clean & comfortable. Great king bed & large ensuite. A new lounge would upgrade the loungeroom.
