The Voile Grise is a villa with a sea view ideally located in the center of the island in the town of Gosier near the Marina.
Its 280 m2 built can accommodate 6 people. The living area is open and the view south to the islands of Les Saintes. It has three air conditioned bedrooms, two large, 1 bathroom, 1 powder room. The cuisine is American type, it leads directly to a large terrace deck. 5mlX5ml the pool is overflowing.
Shops are located 3 minutes by car and the center of Gosier 5 minutes
The Marina du Gosier and the aquarium of Guadeloupe is 3 minutes by car, the nearest beach (Beach of the town of Gosier) and including the pier to the island of Le Gosier, 5 minutes

Oriented for maximizing views, LVG is well situated for exploring all of the island and/or just sitting pool-side and watching the boats. 10/10 would recommend to friends and would return to stay again. Hosts were very kind and clearly care well for their property and guests.

R&R in Paradise

Luxury Base Camp of Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe is one of the most spectacular islands of the Caribbean. And this property is located in the center of the two main sections. This allows one to go east to Sainte Anne or west to the less populated areas of Deshaies, where the series Death in Paradise. Also visit the beaches of Grand Anse and Le Perle. A drive through the Route Traversee and the National Park are very dense and jungle like and stop at the Cascade aux Ecrevisses for a swim in the jungle river that is very easy to access. After a days exploration of the island the house is fantastic with its infinity pool looking out over dense jungle vegetation and the Caribbean Sea towards the island of Dominica. The kitchen and living area are outside to enjoy the climate and bathroom and sleeping areas are within another part of the building that is air conditioned. The owners went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable and were available immediately if we had and questions or concerns. Overall a great property to access all that the Island of Guadeloupe has to offer.

David was a great host and we would definitely return again. Great amenities at the villa for relaxing and dining. A car is needed to get around and to the beaches. Great restaurant are nearby at La Marina.

Your own piece of luxury in Guadeloupe

This is one of those houses you read about when looking through one of those top travel magazines, and you wish you could have the chance to experience. The open plan layout facing what feels like is your own personal bay is breathtaking. This view out over the infinity pool, across a small valley of Caribbean jungle into the sea changes in color and scale every time you gaze out. We must have taken a thousand pictures. The house has everything you need to create your own great experiences either in the superb ocean facing kitchen, or lazing on the large poolside lounges. Inside there is plenty of space to rest and relax, with the upstairs private suite beautifully laid out. Our hosts were brilliant, communicating with us immediately when needed, and nothing was a problem. It is ideally located to reach all the key parts of the island, and having a car is recommended. We were two families with 6 year old daughters each, and they had the time of their lives never leaving the pool. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

MAGICAL VILLA

This villa is magic! The view, the expansive deck, the array of comfortable seating, the open air kitchen, the quality sound system and the infinity pool create a perfectly relaxing environment. On an island where you would usually go exploring a different beach or hike everyday, we chose to stay at home every other day to fully appreciate the beauty of the villa and it's view. When you do leave, there is a bit of traffic in the area. The bedroom spaces were also very comfortable and well appointed.

Exceptional Villa in a very convenient location with the most charming owners.

The Grey Sails is a lovely villa with a superb outdoor area where you can prepare, serve and consume food and wine in full view of the magnificent view. Located just behind the town lo Le Gosier it is only a 10 minute drive to the shops, marina and local beaches. The Villa has a quirkiness that adds to the charm as does it's tasteful decoration.. The bedrooms are air conditioned and there is a separate utility room where you can wash and iron. The only reason we couldn't give it 5 stars were a few niggly electrical problems with the oven and external lighting which the owners are aware of and will rectify.

My partner and I liked staying here. David was very hospitable, and has done a great job of creating an interesting environment rich in open spaces and rich wood finishes. The view is amazing, especially when relaxing in the infinity pool. The only frustration was the my Quebecois girlfriend encouraged me to speak French the entire time and that was quite the challenge! Although the place was great for just the two of us, with large open spaces, a bar and several bedrooms this would also be ideal for a large family or several couples. Highly recommend.

A perfect Vacation in a perfect house

We had the most amazing say at the Grey Sail. The house is amazing, overlooking the ocean from our infinity pool was the best way to relax. The outdoor kitchen was the perfect place to take advantage of the local seafood and produce! David and his wife were great hosts and super responsive with help navigating the island. We will 100% be back and will definitely choose to stay at the Grey Sail again!

Un Havre de paix
