Our entire holiday staying at the Riu Palace was nothing short of perfection. I cannot say enough how utterly incredible this place is. We stayed for a week and we had a partial sea view jr suite, our balcony overlooked palm trees and floral bushes and all you can hear is waves crashing from afar and birds tweeting it was beyond peaceful. The room itself was beautiful, the bed was ridiculously comfy, bathroom was spotless, shower was amazing and the refillable fridge was an added bonus! The staff couldn’t be more lovely, so polite and friendly and helpful from the pool staff to the bar staff and the kitchen staff, all were amazing. WiFi wasn’t the strongest but who cares when you’re in a place like Mauritius! You want to switch off from the world. There are 4 or 5 restaurants you can book however we found we were only able to book 1 of them over the time we stayed and realised it’s because they only have a limited amount of tables each day in comparison to the amount of people staying, BUT it really didn’t matter, the buffet was INSANE!! fresh curry and rice from the Indian buffet, fresh noodles and meat or veg dishes straight from the wok, fresh made pizza and pasta, fresh grilled fish, steak, roast chicken, duck, salad GALORE, they even had fresh made sushi the one evening!! Bar staff making any cocktail you like, a big selection of wines and spirits, soft drinks, juices, mimosa’s at breakfast, honestly I cannot praise the Riu Palace enough, we will be back 1000%!!

Big hotel with a lot of facilities, and rooms were good size and always cleaned very well. Beach was lovely with a stunning view of Le Morne Brabant from the water. Strongly advise the hotel to inform guests prior to arrival to bring beach shoes. Food was fantastic, with lots of variety especially for vegetarians however my only criticism is that some foods are not clearly marked with allergies / what is vegetarian. Food at the à la carte restaurants is great, but we couldn’t get into any of the restaurants in Turquoise hotel despite attempting to book the moment we checked into the hotel which is disappointing. Some great bar staff with a special shout out to Nikesh and Bradley who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service and make some delicious drinks. However some inconsistency amongst the bar staff, with certain members refusing to make certain drinks that others were willing to make, and one particular staff member at the pool bar who seemed to have an attitude each time we visited the bar. Another shout out to the lady providing the towels. Always service with a smile, so lovely to talk with and have a beautiful flower with every towel - it’s the little things like this which make it a stand out service. Reception were quite poor from pre check in (not replying to emails and I had to chase) all the way to check out. It was a common “computer says no” response every time so it’s a terrible first and last impression for the hotel.

Excellent hotel - the staff are the friendliest I have ever experienced at a hotel. They’re all incredibly attentive, polite and welcoming The hotel grounds are pristine and always kept that way - so much to do at both hotels (palace/turquoise) The buffet is very varied and there’s so many options every night. 11/10 would recommend to anyone

Quiet adult all inclusive, food and facilities great A Mecca for wind/kite surfing, so quite windy, but pool areas sheltered and you can find sheltered beach a short walk away Quiet in evenings, evening entertainments we're low budget affairs Food wine and spirits plentiful and good quality. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were warm, attentive, and always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A special thank you to Alexis, who made sure we always had our Masala Chai just the way we liked it — Highly recommend this hotel! Riu Palace provides good value for it's money but what made this place special was the staff and especially management. Smita and Manager, Vikesh went above and beyond to accommodate my group so we could have an enjoyable experience and the place quickly felt like home. The facilities are quite adequate with comfortable and modern accommodations, fun activities especially the nightly music at the Sega Stage, and the food options were pretty good! The location is great for those looking for peace and quiet and/or water sports. It is isolated if you're looking for more town life and will have to spend quite a bit on taxi fares to go into town and back.

Beautiful hotel in Le Morne. Building is new and in very good condition. The staff was amazing every time, from checkin to breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar service. Pools are nice and there are plenty of sunbeds around, in case the ocean is not welcoming. Food was very good, with plenty of choices. The RIU app is not the best, but that’s not something this hotel can fix.
