Tiny breakfast

Everything is fine, though over priced. The “Continental Beakfast” was really just cereal, pancakes & yogurt. Coffee & juice of course. I wish they had offered oatmeal, boiled eggs, and more fruit.

Shady Crash Pad

Card key didn’t work, so they let us into the room and didn’t give us a key. It also took 20 minutes to check in at 11:00 PM because the front desk had to finish some international call. And, of course, the shower drain was clogged.

For this price i would have thought you’d have better service. It was made more annoying by the fact that you could hear him laughing at the tv. I arrived at 2:45 and couldn’t check in till 3pm. Then 3 came and gone. The guy didn’t come till 3:05. I didn’t get to my room till 3:25 bc ppl were waiting in front of me. There is no laundry room and the breakfast is a very sad thing.

The property was outdated but clean. Just be careful when showering if other people are using water the water will be fine and turn scalding hot, tried to readjust but would do the same thing again. If you get up early not a problem.

We are backpacking the CT and the lady at the front desk would not let us leave our packs at the office. So, we had to backpack an extra 2.6 miles to town and back before we could check in. Absolutely no early check ins.

The check in process took an hour. The room is a step above a hostel but it was clean. It's kind of one of the only options in Leadville so you just go with it.

Did not even make it to the room. The clerk at the front desk which looks like a jail entrance was rude. The hotel is next to a busy highway. They only show you one side of the building for a reason.

When I showed up I was surprised there was no elevator but I hauled my 4 bags up the stairs because I was so tired, I didn’t have the energy to complain. I flew across the country and drove 3 hours to get to Leadville. I was given my key at check in but the room door wouldn’t unlock. The staff tried and it wouldn’t work. I said I’m so tired, please just let me in so my son and I can shower and go to bed. The door was opened with a screwdriver and a manual key. We showered and slept and got up to a breakfast of DIY waffles and yogurt. No meat or eggs, just yogurt and waffles for $200 per night. If I had any alternatives or was not traveling with my son, I would have walked out and slept in my rental car. I didn’t search for bugs or check cleanliness because I had accepted my fate to stay here. People were nice but the facility was unacceptable.

My room faced the parking lot so was noisier then the back of the building. There was no hairdryer in the room. The desk clerk was hard to understand and very slow.
