Ideal location and easy to find, very spacious reception area and well planned out, nice clean room, everything worked fine, evening meal was nice and breakfast plentiful, pool was nice temperature and happy all round

Chaos, pure chaos

Terrible conditions, super dated and with “used and abused” look and feel. Dirty and used bin, sofa with crumbs and when asked to move room were given a room with no light in the bathroom, a terrible mattress and stained carpet

The rooms are in desperate need of upgrading, my room had no opening window and only a fire escape door. It had a very musty, old smell to it. Missing a hairdryer from the room. Old bed which wasn't that comfortable due to being very firm. The reception and staff were however friendly and welcoming.

This hotel was very busy. It was noisy and grubby. I couldn't locate the lift and had to carry my case up the stairs. My room was grubby with stains on the carpet wall and doors. The hotel is well overdue a makeover

Terrible customer care, tired, no ac, charges

Don’t stay here, find somewhere else. Our room was okay; big tv, two queen beds and a sofa, but there was no hairdryer, cheap single roll of toilet paper, and the fan did not work. There is no air conditioning in rooms and no lifts to rooms upstairs. The hotel is tired, furniture, paint, and decor worn and there are multiple added costs: Internet (£15 a day if you want more than basic), Parking (£7 a day), ridiculous as it is an out-of-town hotel. Swimming is included, but you must book; with only one booking per day, and times vary. The email we were sent ahead of arrival stated different requirements and made no mention of the booking, so I was turned away when I arrived with my son. This required a trip to reception, which was a frustrating experience: Aswin was unhelpful and uninterested, stating it was clear on the website, and we should have been provided with a welcome letter with this information in. We were not. When challenged about the letter, he stated they must have been busy when we checked in. They were not: 2 staff just us. Only bothered on ensuring we had paid for parking… At no point was there an apology or attempt to rectify the situation other than providing the letter we should have been given. Aswin merely grinned when I asked him if he thought we would stay in the hotel again. Turning a bad customer experience around is possible, but requires compassion, understanding, and an interest in resolution - all of which are absent at Hilton Leicester.

Overnight stay

Rooms were basic. No AC or mini bar. Pillows were very soft and uncomfortable. Only one side of bed had sockets. Breakfast was of good variety but the quality of food was poor, with little flavour. I wouldn't book again if it was for 2 or more days stay.

Review reflect £190 for a single night. I expect more this that and hilton - disappointed. Have to pay for parking, including an added booking fee, despite you being there face to face! Family room i booked was not available so had to make do with the sofa bed for the child. Apparently this was an expedia fault. No towel was left for the child. I rang house keeping to ask. But the towel never arrived. Giant blue shipping container is the view. Room so old and tired. Shower is not easy to turn the temperature on. Not ideal if you were older. Hairdryer disgusting! Sticky, deteriorated plastic mess! Pool towel information incorrect Desk chair isn't fit for purpose. It doesn't fit under the desk due to the arms. Pillows too flat. No decaff tea in the room

The Hilton Hotel Leicester — While the lobby and entrance area appear to have been recently renovated and look quite modern, the rooms were a disappointment. The carpets were stained, the sofas and beds showed significant wear, and the bathrooms felt dated and in need of refurbishment.
