Engulfed by wild, snowy peaks, Apartment Arpasson 10 is an elegant three-bedroom duplex flat for nine guests in Méribel, France. Hidden in the valley of Les Allues, one of the largest and most extraordinary ski areas in the world, it provides easy access to teeming tree-lined pistes and modern ski lifts. Nestled in Altitude 1600, it’s also at a striking distance from a range of chic boutiques and local stores.  

Warm and sumptuous, the apartment blends the rustic charm of an Alpine winter cabin with all the comfort of modern living. Its soothing, contemporary interiors blend perfectly with the surroundings, making you feel in harmony with nature. 

Spend leisurely hours on the sprawling outdoor deck, which looks as charming in soft daylight as it does covered in pillowy snow. 

The living area is inviting and roomy, with graceful wooden furniture, comfy grey couches and dewy walls. It offers a cosy refuge after a hard day of skiing. Unwind before the crackling fireplace and regale each other with stories from the day. Large windows allow plenty of natural light and open onto the scenic outdoors. 

Tuck in for intimate meals at the wooden dining table. If you’re travelling with toddlers, you can request high chairs to make them comfortable. After dinner, curl up in the TV lounge and catch up on your favourite shows. A snug reading corner adds a charm of its own.  

The kitchen is open-plan and well-equipped with sleek countertops and modern cabinetry. It includes a fondue maker, device with grill-stone, dishwasher, refrigerator and dryer. 

All bedrooms are inviting and well-designed. While two bedrooms have double beds and en-suite bathrooms, one of them also features a shiny tub and a comfy office space. It has a private balcony from which you can savour stunning views while sipping your morning coffee. The third bedroom comes with two double beds and a single bed. It’s also equipped with an en-suite bathroom and tub. You can request a baby cot for the little ones.

This elegant estate is nestled in Méribel, a world-class luxury ski resort in the Valley of Allues. Boasting more than 600 kilometres of rolling pistes, it's hailed as one of the most stunning ski destinations worldwide. 

Ski aficionados will delight on the long, uninterrupted slopes of Mont Vallon, the Plattieres, the Tougnete and the Saulire. Make use of the high-powered, ultra-modern ski lifts for easy travel back and forth. 

The property is at a striking distance from local boutiques, gastronomical adventures, shimmering fireworks and trendy nightspots. Take the Olympe gondola lift or the bus to Méribel Centre. Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat with exciting winter sports like snowshoeing, husky sledging and heliskiing. 

Take a stroll along La Chaudanne and check out its parade of eclectic shops, restaurants and pubs. There are options for every kind of budget. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d'Alvar against a magnificent backdrop of Mont Vallon. Sample authentic Indian food at Tsaretta Spice and creamy fondues at La Fromagerie. 

Non-skiers can explore 25 km of spectacular hiking trails across the valley. Witness charming villages, frozen lakes and snowy peaks. Post 3 pm every day, enjoy fun-filled cabaret acts, singing performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel. 

Méribel Village is a picturesque hamlet, slightly removed from Méribel Centre. A cocoon of tranquillity, it's perched at an altitude of 1400 metres. Witness its beautiful wooden and stone chalets. Visit its rustic chapel and feel like you have entered the pages of history. The village square is a township unto itself, with free car parking, a supermarket, a bakery, a sports shop and two restaurants. Dig into sumptuous Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet at these. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.
