Inside, cosy up by the fireplace or cook together in the charming country-style kitchen, complete with SMEG oven. Only 4 minutes drive to Leura Mall and conveniently close to spectacular hiking trails, waterfalls, scenic lookouts and popular attractions.

Restored from recycled building materials including railway sleepers and historic housing, the property is truly one-of-a-kind, with a charming rustic character and plenty of quirky details to discover.

Once part of the historic Old Leura Dairy Hotel, it now stands as a private self-contained haven with modern amenities, tucked away in a leafy garden setting with its own driveway, separate entrance and fenced courtyard.

The space includes two full bathrooms (one with a relaxing bathtub) and a convenient laundry, giving you all the comfort you need for an effortless getaway.

Guests have use of the main living and sleeping area complete with two full bathrooms, and laundry with additional toilet. The front courtyard and grounds are also available.

The back rooms and lower-level rooms are currently only for personal use and not available to guests.

We may be home at the adjoining property during your stay, but you`ll have your own driveway, separate entrance and fenced outdoor space to enjoy in peace and privacy.

We are always available via Airbnb message to answer any questions or help make your stay more comfortable, and have property managers who live nearby if we`re not at home and you do need any assistance.

A complimentary box of firewood and some kindling is provided during the winter months only. Additional bags of firewood and kindling are available from any of the service stations along the Great Western Highway or the Katoomba Bunnings.

Please note that this Airbnb is part of a larger property which may be occupied at times by the owner and family. However, The Haven is designed for complete privacy and seclusion, tucked away with its own driveway and private fenced courtyard.
