311 E Market - Two blocks to Lewes Beach!

History meets modern comfort! Great Lewes Beach house that dates from the late 1800's and has been completely renovated. Gourmet kitchen opens onto a dining area that is perfect for a family gathering. Five bedrooms (one as a 1st floor primary suite) are well-placed for ease. The four guest rooms each with a Queen bed are located on the 2nd floor. The third floor area is set up as a play room for kids of all ages! The signature wrap-around porch will soon be your favorite place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning or an adult beverage in the evening.

Conveniently located within a short walk to the beach and to the Dairy Queen or to downtown shops and restaurants. The cottage at 303 Massachusetts (adjacent to this property) is available for rent with this property.

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Dog friendly 35 pounds or less with non-refundable fee and signed addendum.

Owner will do minimum 2 night stays in the off season

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and e-Checks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

Kick-Off to Summer

This house is an excellent location - 1.5 blocks to the beach and about 10 min walk to town (very safe). The house was great for our two families with young children. The wrap around porch was used whenever we were home and the playroom attic was a hit! The kitchen has everything needed for cooking family meals and the house is in decent shape - really all you need for a beach house. Our only qualm was the beds. The mattresses are quite old and could use an upgrade. One in particular made a lot of noise, even for two kids using it. Other than that, we had a really great vacation and would come again!

Great place!

Had a great short trip and enjoyed this property. It’s a very comfortable place to stay and the kids loved the kid room upstairs. Very close to the beach and downtown Lewes.

Great Location, Cool home!

Very cool historic home with updated spacious kitchen. Our party was two families - four adults and four children between 5 and 8. Kids' playroom was a big hit. Location couldn't be better. A very short walk to the beach, and very walkable to downtown to the shops and restaurants in Lewes. We rented bikes nearby for the week that delivered to the house, and our family got a big kick from riding on all of the great trails in the area, including Henlopen State Park. The beach in Lewes is a bay beach, so very calm, even boring, waters. If you want ocean waves, going to the state park is right there. Overall, an amazing week!

It was great to stay in a quirky house that was over 100 years old yet fully modernised. Loved the extensive covered porches and proximity to the beach and town.

Perfect location in Lewes

Our extended family had an amazing beach week in Lewes, and this rental was a huge part of that. Walkable/ bikeable to everything Lewes has to offer. We also loved the history of the home and the wrap around porch makes this property really stand out. My only complaint is that the beds are in need of a serious upgrade, otherwise a perfect and serene beach getaway!
