At just an hour outside Austin, you'll find the Zen Country Retreat! This renovated country home is situated on 5 acres and conveniently on the Central Texas BBQ Trail.

Get up early Saturday morning to experience the tastes and smells of the famous Snow's BBQ or spend your time decompressing from city life, venturing to state parks, or antiquing.

The property has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the main home featuring 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 twin bed with a twin trundle. The master bathroom has a large walk-in shower and the second bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

Outside you'll find a casita which is the perfect spot to watch the game or get some work done. It has a kitchenette, pullout sofa, and desk.

There are a total of 3 televisions in the space, all equipped with streaming capabilities and Netflix access via Starlink internet.

The outdoor space is a great place to roast marshmallows under the Texas stars at night.

House is very nice and clean. It is tucked back off the road and you feel like you are in secluded country home. We loved the back Casita that was set up as an entertainment room. The owner is super responsive and provides great information about things to do in the area. Will definitely book again in the future.

Great place to stay with your whole family

We did a quick get away for my husband’s birthday and were able to bring our dog along with us as well which is always nice. The backyard was fenced in and had a fire pit so we could all hang out and relax. We would stay here again hands down. Loves that Lauren was so way to communicate with and also responded quickly.

The House Description Did NOT Lie, It Was Truly Zen

Our stay at the Zen Country Retreat was perfect! The house was super clean, had every amenity you'd need for your stay (including great support for kids), and was super comfortable. As someone who lives in a city, I was truly shocked by how quiet and peaceful it was out there. No traffic noise, no rowdy neighbors, it was all very peaceful. We also LOVED the s'mores ingredients; my kids had a blast making them, and it was a very nice, homey touch!
