Property is falling apart. The unit we stayed in the portable air conditioners were all filthy, all fans were filthy. I had to clean the ceiling fans and filters because there was so much dust. My kids got an allergic reaction sleeping there for a week. To top it off my battery was stolen out of vehicle one night. Sad

Fully stocked. Had all the items we needed. They were doing a massive check and repair on all the balcony so we really couldn’t enjoy it, but the view was nice.

Cons: Hospitality: We were about 20 mins early to check in and the front desk hostess rudely reminded that Aloha spirit only starts after 4pm. The room was ready but she really didn't want to check us in before 4pm. Room: it's a motel 6 quality room with no insulation/sound proofing whatsoever. The street noise, especially the roosters crowing at 2am, are a special treat to wake you up. The AC broke down after first night of stay and then there were portable ACs provided which were not ideal and taking up your walking space. Coffee machine was not working, we got the replacement though. The balcony was unaccessible - safety reasons, since building is falling apart. For the price point, they make you take your garbage out, only one coffee pouch provided - no refills, and charge you the resort fee of $22 for handling their "housekeeping" tasks. Pro: Location was good, easy drive from airport and that's that, not enough to justify to spend your time in a decades old property. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this place for the price point.

Review: Disappointing Stay Despite Great Location and Friendly Staff The location of this villa was excellent — close to everything we wanted to see and do, and the staff were consistently kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The villa itself was extremely outdated, which we expected, but the level of cleanliness and upkeep was far below acceptable standards for the price point. The carpets and furniture were heavily stained and looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. The bathrooms had no ventilation, resulting in a constant musty, damp smell, and there was visible paint chipping below the tub from what appeared to be long-term water damage. The spare room’s air conditioning barely functioned, and the hot water heater was so small that our family of five ran out of hot water continuously. The sliding glass and screen doors on the balcony were difficult to open and close, and overall, the villa just didn’t feel clean or well maintained. For the amount charged per night, the condition of the unit was extremely disappointing and not reflective of the quality we expected. The shared Outrigger pools were a huge plus and helped salvage our trip, but note that access does not include the Outrigger gym. It’s also worth mentioning that some of these villas are privately owned and may have been remodeled — so your experience could vary depending on which unit you get. This property is average, bordering on poor. We stayed for six nights and found they refuse to change bed linens until you’re there a week (we have a 9yr, 2.5yr and a 6-month), which is kinda gross considering the amount of sand everywhere. They also refuse to trade in your towels until the 4th day, which is preposterous. We have three kids and paid a lot of money to watch them play on the beach; we didn’t go all that way to babysit the washer/dryer for towels. The entire unit gave me major ick factor. That said, Outrigger next door was a dream and they allow Villa guests to use their FAR SUPERIOR amenities. All in all…… I would pay more money for somewhere cleaner that doesn’t hold towels hostage.
