Hilltop Barn is a reconstruction of a traditional Lincolnshire Barn in old brick and pantiles. It is built to modern standards and is ideal for families and pets. In its own spacious meadow with a lovely sheltered quarry area behind for camp fires and `nature this place is very special. You will be well placed for visiting Lincoln and the coast and exploring the wide open Lincolnshire countryside. We call it the "Place with Space" for good reason.

Not quite what it says.

The barn is divided into 2 sections . This was not clear by the information supplied . One en-suite bedroom was on the opposite side of the building with no internal connection. This needs to be made clear on the properties description. I would not have booked this had I known . Somewhat overpriced given the separate accommodation which we could not really use. The cleanliness of the kitchen which was overrun with flies left much to be desired . The double bed had a 15tog heavyweight duvet which was far in excess of ones needs in the height of summer , while the single beds had 7tog duvets . I have no idea how a family with 4 young children would be able to manage in this property . Although the owner was obliging , he was slow to respond . The linens and towels were vey clean which is more than I can say for the property.
