We had a lovely holiday at Rosecraddock, staying in the Riverbank, which is adapted for wheelchair users. Apart from the gravel access, the cottage has spacious rooms and a large wet room. The setting is really beautiful. There was a drain smell in the cottage to start with, but we used lots of bleach in the drains and it subsided. You definitely need a car to travel around and to go to local pubs.

The location was beautiful and the nearby areas were really nice.
The location was beautiful and the nearby areas were really nice. The cottage itself was very comfortable. However, both bathrooms had no locks/one lock was broken. There was also no hand wash in any of the bathrooms. There were also no kitchen roll available. These facilities could be improved. Overall we had an amazing stay.

The one local amenity The Village Inn, was excellent.
The one local amenity The Village Inn, was excellent. I would recommend this to able bodied people. The managers were very efficient and friendly. But if one of your party needs a really accessible property: There are grab rails around the downstairs toilet and a slope to the front door; Both upstairs and downstairs showers are over bath, not easy for the over 80's in our party and completely inaccessible for my father who needs assistance walking; there are no grab rails, or mirror, or towel rail, near the downstairs sink; without moving at least 2 of the ( very heavy and soft) chairs, there is no access to the dining table for a wheelchair. The grounds are lovely, but pushing a wheelchair on the loose stones was very difficult.
