Absolutely lovely little break away with my father.
The team working there were amazingly friendly.
Food was good although I can’t comment on breakfast as my father doesn’t eat until around lunchtime. I love a full English. The sacrifices some of us have to make
Lovely and good value family run pub and guesthouse.
Clean and homely room with everything you need. Lots of food options for dinner and a well stocked bar.
The pub was busy but closed and early enough not to disturb me sleeping.
Staff friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was great and a reasonable £10 for a full English.
I'd happily stay here again.
Had two nights here, staff really friendly and helpful, room was good and beds were comfy, had a nice meal there.
Only downside was the room was above the bar area so a little noisy and room 1 bathroom adjoined ours no 2, it was like they were in the room with us , singing in the bath and some poor person being sick
I was on business trip I had an Excellent stay, amazing value for money. Breakfast outstanding. Tuesday & Wednesday the pub is closed, but very helpful on suggestions of places to eat nearby. Highly recommend
Lovely room so able to relax. Good communication from the hotel - it wasn't open the night I stayed but I was sent details of the keypad for the front door & key to the room was available. A list of food delivery options was provided as food not served that night. Tea/coffee in the room plus toiletries. It's a lovely place to stay &, if visiting the area, close to the main road, beaches, small villages but only 20 minutes or so from Plymouth. Definitely recommend whether for business (decent free wifi) or leisure.
A 1 night stay, hotel clean and comfortable good shower, staff friendly food was nice its the 3rd time i have stayed and should work take me this way again, i would stay here
They don't serve food and drink Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I was up and down the A38 to the Brightside café as there is nowhere else nearby that sells food. My only gripe.
