"We met with family members at the hotel to celebrate an anniversary. The staff were extremely professional and welcoming. The hotel sits in impressive grounds, and the outlook from our mountain view hotel suite was 'picture postcard' attractive. There were also plenty of lounge areas to admire the views. The food offering was delicious and beautifully presented. In short, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Close to everything, great customer service, fast check in, clean, comfortable, plenty of parking, good sized bed, wide selection for breakfast and a great roll top bath for relaxing in at the end of a long day!!"

"Lakes hotel and Spa has exceeded our expectations in every way. The service was outstanding -the staff were so professional and friendly and went above and beyond; the room was lovely and clean with the added bonus of a hot-tub, the spa looked great though we didn't get a chance to enjoy it as stopped only 1 night. The food at Mizumi was delicious and the buffet breakfast catered to all dietary needs with plenty of options. We plan on returning soon. The location was great too, a 2 min walk to lake Windermere's Bowness ferry/boats and shops. "

"The hotel was in a superb location with the ferry and steam train nearby to enable us to explore the lakes. The hotel was spotless and the staff extremely friendly. The food was top notch and service fantastic! They have got the ambience of the hotel off to a tee. Lovely subtle background music and warm inviting features and decor. The spa was the icing on the cake. Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. "
