Gorgeous New Waterfront Lake House

Bring the whole family (or host a girls’ weekend!) to this great place on Lake Gaston! Lots of room for fun, both indoors and out. New home with four bedrooms (two masters), a private office, basement and screened porch/deck. Sleeping includes 3 kings, two queen fold-outs and 4 bunk beds. Double boat dock on a quiet cove that you can tie you boat to. Swim/float/play/paddle/fish off the dock. Main lake access, community boat launch nearby, fire pit, pool table, darts, gym, paddle boards, lots of water toys and floaties! Horseshoes too. Boats including pontoons can gain access to main lake no problem.

Lovely autumn stay for our annual friendsgiving. The home is well appointed, in a great location. And the host is very accommodating. The kitchen was a big draw, and the last minute fried green tomatoes to the menu was a hit, courtesy of the property and host. But it was the couch that had us all raving. It was so cozy and became the spot be when a windy cold snap rolled in and the fire crackled.

Wonderful home!Owner responded promptly to all inquiries. Check-in was easy. Island kitchen was super sized which made meal prep and serving great for our extended family and had all the appliances and utensils we needed. The screened in porch was thoroughly enjoyable as were the fans throughout the house. We enjoyed floating & playing in the water around the dock and caught 3 good sized catfish (on hotdog chunks) which supplemented one of our meals. Kids enjoyed jumping off the dock (water is 6-7' deep at edge of dock). Lots of room to spread-out and relax. The neighbors were friendly too. If you have a chance to rent this home, we highly recommend it.

Amazing Large Family Retreat

What an incredible stay - the property was amazing and the host was outstanding. My brother and I brought our families together for several days and it went well beyond our expectations. We had four adults and four kids 6 or under. The property had plenty of space and beautiful amenities. Specifically, every morning at the crack of dawn the kids were clambering to fish off the beautiful dock. That would transition into swimming in the lake, then a boat ride in the pontoon boat we rented and tied up at the property with no issues for the duration of the stay. The kitchen was great to prepare family dinners, the paddle boards got daily use, the neighbors were kind and welcoming. There were plenty of well-appointed bedrooms including two primaries with en suites.We couldn't have asked for more and will absolutely return. Thank you Chris!

What a beautiful home! We enjoyed the time at Lake Gaston; easy walk to the boat dock & the boat ramp was very close to the house; a big plus! The screened in porch was wonderful for having meals outside! Chris was very responsive if we needed anything!

Fabulous House & Amenities

Our first week at the lake was made so much better by staying at this house! First, it's absolutely beautiful inside and out. The ensuite bathrooms are amazing and the kitchen has almost everything you could ask for. The beds are comfortable and there's plenty of seating in the dining room and at the huge kitchen island. The mud room area & laundry room are super helpful! We brought our jet skis and kept them at the dock all week, so we could enjoy them at a moment's notice. The dock area is large and provides you with both sun and shade. We fully utilized the equipment provided and having a pump to inflate the floats & toys was another super helpful item. Something lacking in some other houses is the number of chairs around the fire pit - 8 did the trick! The host is incredibly attentive and very responsive. We absolutely recommend this house and will consider staying here again.

2024 Parker Sibling Getaway

Had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful place on the lake. Has everything you need and more. Whether it’s sitting in the screened porch listening to the birds or sitting on the dock relaxing by the water, it’s a great place to unwind. It was also great to be able to jump in our boats right off the dock.

Dream Lake House

From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we knew this home was special. It sits back from the street in a quiet neighborhood. The view of the lake is visible when you enter the front door. The high ceilings, modern finishes and tasteful decor are found throughout the home. The kitchen is spacious, modern and fully stocked with everything you need to dine in. Our favorite room, the screened in porch, was incredibly comfortable and accommodated all five of us for morning coffee and evening dinners. The home is spacious enough for a large group to have privacy and space. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were beautiful and well appointed. We loved game night in the walk-out basement furnished with a large TV, pool table, dart board and gym. The views from every room were incredible. The home sits on a cove, which we loved and preferred to the open lake. The cove had ample space for boaters to water ski or jet ski. We loved it for kayaking, paddle boarding and floating. The boat house was incredibly cute, furnished with comfortable furniture and fully stocked w/water toys. Another favorite was the walk to the boat house from the main house, which meandered through trees and a wooden path. The host was gracious, friendly and accommodating. He communicated well and was quick to respond. We loved this home and will most definitely return! I would highly recommend it to anyone venturing to the lake.

Relaxing Lake Getaway

Had a fantastic time staying at this property. Listing and pictures were accurate. Owner was very responsive and helpful in providing information. The house had plenty of room for my family and a friend's family (4 adults, 4 kids). We brought our own boat and had no issues with launching it and tying up to the dock. We enjoyed the floats and stand up paddleboards provided. Kids loved doing s'mores in the fire pit. Screened in porch was a favorite area for enjoying coffee or a meal and the view. Would not hesitate to rent this place again.

Perfect Lake Trip

From the moment we pulled into the driveway we knew this was going to be an exceptional rental property. The lake view was visible through the front door and we were simply blown away by the view once we entered the house. Every amenity imaginable was available in the spacious dining room/kitchen area including an oversized island and a great dining room table which were perfect spots to dine and play games. Attached to the living room is a gorgeous screened in porch with plenty of comfortable seating and an amazing view of the lake. Every day started with coffee on the porch taking in the tranquil atmosphere. We took advantage of the oversized grill that was available on the deck to cook up some great meals for our trip. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious and well equipped with large closets. We spent most of our time on the dock which has multiple levels and comfortable outdoor furniture. The kids took advantage of the floats and paddle boards which the owners made accessible. We rented a boat from a third party and there was plenty of space to easily come and go as we pleased. Inexperienced boaters should be aware that access to the main lake does require passage under a narrow/low bridge. Even if one chose not to access the main lake, the coves provide plenty of space to boat, tube, or ski. At night we enjoyed the firepit which had plenty of comfortable seats for everyone. We have rented many time at lake houses in NC and this was our favorite!
