We stayed at the Cozy Cottage from 3/30/26 to 4/2/26. I would like to write a more detailed review of our experience, but I am limited by the character count.The cottage matches the photos and has a cozy feel. The decor is nice, and the outdoor porch with the hot tub and covered fireplace was a great feature that we did enjoy. The loft was also cute, but the stairs are very steep and could be unsafe for small children.Unfortunately, our stay was heavily impacted by several issues. The biggest concern was mice. They got into sealed food and chewed through bags, and we found droppings throughout the cabin, including on the floors. This made the space feel very unclean. We had to store food in the car, refrigerator, or microwave and throw quite a bit away.The front door lock also did not work properly. It kept spinning and the deadbolt stuck, so we could not reliably lock the cabin and had to leave our belongings unsecured during our stay.The main bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there was a visible stain on the sheets. There were also general cleanliness and maintenance concerns, including broken blinds.Communication was frustrating. The owner was responsive before the trip and quick to request an extra fee to add our son, but when issues came up, responses were delayed and unhelpful.The cabin is also about 30 minutes from most attractions.We made the best of our trip, but due to the mice, cleanliness issues, lock problem, and lack of support, I would not rec.
