Former Traditional Renovated Spacious Coach House

Renovated by a RIBA architect, this former coach house, within the former boundaries of the parish church of St Mary's the Virgin, which it served, is a unique piece of history. However, brought right up to modern standards, with a minimalist and contemporary Scandinavian style; its very "on trend"!
Enjoy the sleek lines, modern lighting and surfaces, mixed with hints of its English heritage style and architecture. A beautiful mix for any visitor to the city, its dual character will be very much appreciated. Boasting a large Kitchen with all modern conveniences - washing machine, microwave, integrated oven and gas cooker hobs, stainless steel surfaces and loads of cupboard space, filled with everything we can imagine you would need for your stay. Serviced boiler provides all your hot water and central heating requirements, instantly.
The spacious Living Room is not only relaxing and airy, but the large futon sofas also fold out into large double beds for an additional 4 guests, without compromising on the space or accessibility. With still lots of room for Dining and entertaining, whether watching television, a quiet read from the large selection of books or enjoying your music on the high end wifi music system provided.
The secure rear Garden is an extension of the Living Room space with uninterrupted access straight into the outside space. Ideal for extending the space on a warm summer's day, eating al fresco, enjoying a barbecue or just listening to the the birdsong from the nearby park.
Up the stairs to the two large Bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds, loads of extra blankets, bed and bath linens for the beautiful Bathroom. Large wardrobe for hanging or storing your clothes out of the way.
The Bathroom is spacious with both bath and shower options and all the amenities would could think of.
The upstairs sleeping area is peaceful and quiet, with lots of space for your luggage and personal items.
St Mary's Road is located a 10 minute walk from Plaistow Underground train station, in Zone 3 and is accessible both by train on the District line or bus. Both provide a fast reliable service into Central London with all the tourist attractions, or Stratford which sports Europe's largest shopping mall, casino, sports arena and facilities as well as London's largest and newest park, the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park. Central London, Zone 1, is 30 minutes by Underground train. Stratford, Zone 2, is 30 minutes by bus.
This is a quiet family friendly neighborhood, 2 minutes walk to the large open green of Plaistow Park, local shops and traditional pub, with ATM machine.
The house is perfect for a large family, group of friends or just a couple's get-away shopping, relaxing and enjoying all that London city has to offer.

Très belle maison au cœur d’un quartier non touristique

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison est bien située, près du métro le plus pratique pour visiter Londres. La maison est très bien équipée : rien ne manque ! Le jardin est agréable le soir pour boire une spécialité anglaise. A deux pas de la maison un super pub vous accueille (surtout le soir de la finale de la coupe du monde ...) Je conseille cette maison à tout le monde.

St Mary's séjour

Dustin est vraiment formidable. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour du début à la fin (1 semaine). Le propriétaire est très accessible, disponible accueillant. Il sait conseiller judicieusement pour une expérience unique à Londres. Toutes les suggestions de Dustin étaient parfaites et originales. Nous avons passé des moments inoubliables. Nous reviendrons. Zwanglos und angenehm

Das Appartement war praktisch, angenehm eingerichtet und in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen. Die Verbingung nach London ist sehr praktisch. Von Ferienwohnung bis U-Bahn-Station "Plaistow " dauerte ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß. Von Plaistow Haltestelle bis London City dauerte ca. 25. Minuten. Kleiner Supermarkt ("Cost Cutter") zum täglichen Einkauf in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Der Vermieter war immer erreichbar per Email oder WhatsApp und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefuehlt und koennen weiter das Haus empfehlen.

Zuverlässig und sehr bemüht

Wegen eines Schadens konnten wir nicht im beschriebenen Haus unterkommen. Wir wurden auf die Wohnung seines Bruders umgebucht. Diese War teurer als unsere, und es War eine hotelübernachtung erforderlich. Dustin hat sich um die Hotelzimmer, er gekümmert, und die Mehrkosten übernommen. Ausserdem War er per Mail oder WhatsApp immer erreichbar und erkundigte sich nach unserer Zufriedenheit in deren ersatzunterkunft. So wurde deren Urlaub eine erholsame sache und ich wünsche Dustin alles gute! Vielen Dank für die Mühe!

The house was very clean and comfortable. It gave me and my family a home away from home feeling. Highly recommend it to any one wanting to spend a few das in London. The tube is really close the only problem is that it was closed for the weekend.

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed at this apartment for four nights. Dustin was very flexible regarding our last minutes travel plans which changed our arrival time. The apartment was tucked into a local neighborhood, far removed from any tourist destinations. We were able to use the Underground and bus system to get around which was fairly easy since there was a Tube stop about a 5 minute walk away.

Perfect for travelers

This two bedroom home was perfect for our family as we explored London. It was not far from the trains so it was very easy to navigate to/from. The home was clean and well maintained. The owner, Dustin was very responsive to questions about the home and easy to work with.

Great place to stay during one week of sightseeing holidays. Absolutely recommended!

Herrlicher London Sightseeing Aufenthalt in St. Mary`s Rd 8 Wir (Familie 2 Erw., 2 Jugendliche) haben im Juli 2018 eine Woche Sonnenschein-Urlaub dort verbracht. Da wir Sightseeing machen wollten, war für uns der größte Vorteil des Ferienhauses die Nähe (10min Fußweg) zur Plaistow –Underground Station (Zone 3). Dazu noch die Oystercard und es konnte losgehen. Damit war es leicht, das Haus mit dem Underground vom Flughafen aus zu erreichen. Das Ferienhaus liegt somit sehr günstig, weitere Pluspunkte sind die Lebensmittel – Shops die in 5-10 min zu Fuß erreichbar sind, wobei man tagsüber den Autoverkehr kaum hört und die Gegend erfreulicherweise auch nachts ruhig ist. Die Einrichtung des Haus St Mary`s Road 8 ist toll, weil alles dort ist, was man braucht. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und geht ins schöne Wohnzimmer mit Essecke über. Wir konnten die ganze Woche im kleinen Garten frühstücken. Im OG befinden sich noch zwei Schlafzimmer getrennt von Bad/WC. Wir können das Ferienhaus absolut empfehlen! Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, sehr zuverlässig und antwortet sehr schnell auf Anfragen und gibt Tipps zu London/Plaistow. Great Sightseeing holidays in London, St. Mary`s Road 8 We, a family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed there for one week of sunshine holidays. As our main plan was sightseeing, the greatest advantage of that house in St Mary`s Road 8 is, that is in walking distance (10min) to Plaistow Underground station (zone 3). Having the Oystercard we were ready to go. Reaching the house from the airport Heathrow by using the tube is easy and takes about 2 hours. Further advantages are the shops that are close (5-10 min) and the fact that it is quiet during night- and daytime around St Mary`S Road 8. The facility inside the house is absolutely complete, the kitchen is fully equipped. From the kitchen you can step into the nice living-room. During our stay we had breakfast outside in the nice small garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms separated by bathroom/toilet. We absolutely recommend St. Mary`s Road 8! The landlord is very kind, absolutely reliable and responds very fast to questions and gives great recommendations regarding London/Plaistow.

Clean and welcoming

Our family of four loved staying here during our three days in London! The kitchen was stocked with some basic breakfast items (bread, butter, milk, jam) which was a wonderful thing to have the morning after we arrived. We got a great night's sleep each night due to the quiet neighborhood. We had plenty of sheets and towels. The metro is a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolut emphehlenswert!

Das kleine Reihenhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Teenagern in Plaistow. Es ist nett eingerichtet (Ikea) , es gibt zwei Doppelzimmer mit Franz. Betten und 2 Schlafsofas im Wohnzimmer. Die U Bahn Station Plaistow ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Von dort ist man in ca.15-20 Minuten an allen touristisch Interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Zentrum von Stratford mit Bahnhof und riesigen Shoppingzentrum ist in 10 Minuten mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Die Gegend ist typisch für Ost London , aber wir haben uns jederzeit auch abends sicher gefühlt. Die Nachbarn und Menschen in der Gegend waren sehr freundlich. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter Dustin lief über E mail und Whats app, war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfreich. Dustin hat uns auf unserer Nachfrage jeden Tag mit Restaurant Tipps geholfen. Wir haben jedes mal mitten im Zentrum hervorragend und zu zivilen Preisen in hippen Lokalen gegessen. Wir werden definitiv wieder dort hinkommen beim nächsten London Aufenthalt. Super Ferienwohnung!

Quiet, Nested, Comfortable

My first trip to London. The apartment was well cared for, clean, and supplied. The fixtures and utilities worked perfectly. Dustin was responsive and accommodating via WhatsApp. Wished this was my actual apartment in London, but unfortunately had to give it back. LoL Nested well on a quiet road but near good transport. Bus lines, Plaistow rail station, and Stratford shopping center and shops within moderate distance. Thumbs up!

My family of 4 adults stayed here July 7-13 and were extremely pleased. The bathroom and kitchen were meticulously clean and stocked with essentials. The 2 rooms upstairs have full sized beds, and the living room has 2 full sized futons...ideal for my family and all clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and responsive to my questions and requests, even while away on his own vacation at the time. He left fresh flowers and fruit, which I thought was a nice detail. Excellent trip, lovely home!

St. Mary's road was well equipped apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Eastern London. Travelling by bus (25) from Stratford to Oxford Circus was a very interesting experience. Black Lion is the best pub in Plaistow. Fine holidays in London.

Well set up for a family of 4 adults and a child

Its a shame I could not join my family for this stay. My parents and sister had a wonderful stay at Dustin's place. He was accomodative and guided them on any enquiries they had.

close to tube station; warm and friendly welcome from Dustin; everything in the house that you could need; lovely garden to sit in, immaculately clean; off road parking outside

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons été bien reçu Par le propriétaire , très bonne communication avec ce dernier.Logement situé au calme à environ 5min à pied de la station métro Plaistow, toutes les attractions sont faciles d'accès à partir du métro. Il y'a également des bus tout près et un grand centre commercial est à quelques arrêts bus ( à Straford) . Après les promenades, les enfants peuvent profiter d'une plaine de jeux située à environ 50m du logement. Rapport qualité prix il n y'a rien dire. Nous étions 2 adultes et 3enfants de 10 ans , 10 ans et 9 ans.Nous reviendrons.
