Staff were great; my ‘single’ room had all I needed - but boy was it small…!
And no tea/coffee making facilities feels a bit sad - but there are shops closeby if you want to buy yourself a drink (and Costa is RIGHT THERE in the day!)
It’s more than ‘adequate’ - but I’d maybe just expect a bit more for the money I paid?!
Our rooms are very neat. Seemed newly renovated with high tech gears for the entrance and lights. Staffs are very nice. Will recommend specially once the adjoining cafe is managed by the hotel and probably breakfast included.
Had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were wonderful and, although the rooms are small they contain very thing you could possibly need. I’ll be booking again!
We knew going into our stay that this would be a small, budget hotel. However, due to the maintenance of the facility our experience was not very good. I would not recommend staying at this property.
We were informed going into our stay that the hotel was under construction, and it would be noisy from 9am-5pm, but the hotel didn’t tell us the the A/C wouldn’t be working. This seems like something you should inform guest of, they didn’t supply a fan for our room until I asked.
Additionally, our key card for the room continuously stopped working. We had to get our key card fixed about 5 times during our stay to get into our room. We don’t know why, we weren’t putting the card near our phone or other cards.
Lastly, the lights in the room kept malfunctioning and turning on and off when we weren’t touching them. We woke up early one morning because the lights randomly turned on. We were also woken up one morning by a hotel employee coming by and telling us to flip a switch in our room?? Did not explain what the switch was for.
I would really recommend not booking here and finding a different budget accommodation option.
I travelled solo, this was perfect no frills no food options.but plenty of eating places in the area, some open 24 hours.steps away from lambeth tube station, bring you where you want to be.overall warm, safe, and good showers, will certainly stay again
The room is compact and the bathroom even smaller. A larger person would have difficulty getting in and out of the shower. You certainly cant bend down in it. You have to sit sideways on the toilet as you ar crammed between the wall and the vanity basin. There is a small fold out table and chair for one otherwise you sit on the bed. There is no mini fridge, no kettle or coffee/tea. The area is extremely noisy at night made worse because i heeded to kerp the window open as the temperature is preset at 25 degrees which is super hot in a stuffy little room. There is no tourist information brochures in the lobby and the reception staff don't easily seem identifiable as therecis no uniform. At times i felt i walked into a lobby and some people were just hanging out there. The underground is hidden across the road. Once i realised it was there it made getting around easier. Close to Westminster Bridge and Big Ben. Served the purpose as a place to sleep at night.
Rooms are quite small, but perfect for a single person or a couple! The location can’t be beat - everything is so close, either by public transportation or by foot. The only downside was the construction going on, but the staff did their best to minimize its effects on those staying.
