The pool is clean, enjoyable, and the staff is great. Very friendly and conversational. Breakfast is good, but lunch and dinner are not memorable at the Mediterranean. The pastries are excellent, but the coffee station has terrible service from staff who are either unhappy or moody and do not want to be there. I am a coffee drinker, and when I asked for two cappuccinos, I got a LOOK like I am from another planet. I found it very unprofessional when I was waiting to wrap up my coffee order, and a staff member disrupted the conversation, having a long conversation with another staff member, totally forgetting or ignoring me. I stared at them to signal my existence, and finally, they stopped and asked me what I wanted. The Japanese, the castles, and the Indian restaurants are great, and so is all the staff. Morning front desk staff are friendly, but some need a mood boost. Wyndham is a brand hotel, and the amount of money I paid to stay at this resort, I wasn't happy to chase around for chicken nuggets and hot dogs for my two kids and extra towels for the room. The room service delivery charge of $25 per meal is a bit much, as I think it should be included since it's an all-inclusive resort. I was very impressed with Wyndham in Costa Rica; that's a reason why I chose this hotel for Barbados.

The staff wasn’t welcoming at all. I felt like I was bothering them everytime I asked a question or for a simple request it felt like boarder line begging. Most of them had attitudes, and were very stand off. There was no convince store in or around the resort. I got really sick and I had to ask someone to go off the resort to get me some over the counter medicine and feminine products. The drainage system in the bathroom is not ideal at all. I understand we were on an island, but every single time I took a shower (even less than 10mins) , the whole entire bathroom would flood and take the full day to fully drain out. I would have to stand in dirty shower water to finish getting ready in the bathroom. There is also beach access advertised but there was no beach. I would describe it more like a man made cove. There was no space to spread out on the sand, and your practically on top of other guests. So close that there is no privacy for relaxation as you can hear everyone’s conversation even if it is at a reasonable tone. It was also impossible to even just get your feet wet as the shore was a distance from the sand/leisure area. The one thing that was nice about the resort was how spacious it is. Lots of open space and privacy. Great food too.

After check in, I had to wait until 10pm to a dirty room. No customer service, at all! Food is subpar to say the least. My Last day there, they served uncooked rice and leftover food from the night before .

The resort was nice. However, when we arrived, the room was not restocked. I had to request it. The iron and the ironing board did not work, but the iron was replaced. We did not have enough towels at times. It was like they were stingy with their towels.I ordered room service and it was not on time. They told me 30 to 45 minutes and it was a little over an hour before I receive my meal. The staff was friendly. The view from my room was beautiful. Overall day was OK.

Room was neglected 3 days in a row. Management and staff made all kinds of excuses, but staff is not trained and Gen Mgr Leroy Brown is not in control of his coop. The butler Tyrone tried, but is powerless. Hotel does not even provide vacuums to staff to clean. Do NOT stay at this place !!

The overall staff at this stay were horrible. There was many occasions where a total lack of care and bad attitudes were present. Bar staff would ignore the guests, get drink orders wrong, forget to deliver drinks that were ordered and how do you run out of orange juice for only the first half of the day? This simply means they are too lazy to stock the bars for the demand. This also didn't stop at the bars only, one morning at breakfast I witnessed the barista in the buffet style restaurant raise her voice to a teenager, unacceptable! I mean him and I were waiting for 5+ minutes for our coffee's, but how dare we ask, because she was sooo busy (she wasn't, we were the only 2 guests in the line) I called the front desk during my stay on 4 times to have my in room fridge filled, and it was completed once. Even on Christmas evening my family of 4 wasn't able to sit together at dinner because "there wasn't any tables available" yet when we looked around there was 3 tables which could have accommodated my family of 4. I even went to the front desk to share my feedback while on site, and the front desk didn't care, and nothing happened and no follow up. I also reached out to the property via Instagram, and still have yet to hear back from the property. Unacceptable. This stay was a complete waste of my time and money, I wouldn't tell anyone the visit this hotel ever again.

To be fair the resort is beautiful, rooms clean and comfortable and the pools are nice. Except for Kira, service our family received was terrible. The first evening we arrived late so everything was closed already. Our mini bar in the rooms were unstocked so we went to their grab'n go cooler gabbed a drink & the top was moldy. Food choices are room service for an additional $25 fee, a crowded buffet where the staff are not trained or even friendly, with food that is lukewarm at best or the pool bar that was serving off their limited menu the first couple days until they switched to burgers hot dogs & dry chicken in a buffet setting near the pool, again not warm at all. Bar service by the pools was unbelievably bad. They weren't stocked with essentials and didn't seem to care. Occasionally someone took an order by the pool but almost never delivered it. Went to the concierge desk asking for help or reservations for their main dining room, which was very good, but we could only get reservations 2 times the entire week. 3 young ladies sat at the concierge desk, blankly stared and just said nothing available. When we were able to get in the main dining room it was almost empty. Requests for restocking our mini bar went unanswered repeatedly by the concierge, housekeeping & restaurant staff. Booked an excursion and felt really unsafe in the area. Wish we would have left the resort early to find a place where the staff actually cared-would NEVER recommend staying here to anyone.
