    Inn the Woods

    Over all a lovely place but a few negatives. At no time did we ever meet the host. No introduction, no welcome. Maybe its a Vrbo thing. From time to time there was a strong odour of septic system both around and inside the cabin. The tv stopped providing anything the second day in. It seems like a Netflix subscription had expired and in any case guests unfamiliar with Netflix ahould be provided with instructions on what's available and how to access it. Shower fixture is wonky and someone could get scalded. The fan in the living room is not operational. These comments are intended to be helpful and not at all malicious. Cabin was very clean, beds very comfortable.

    The perfect getaway

    A week in paradise, with kindhearted hosts, a beautiful cottage, a quiet peaceful meadow, and everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the wifi was fast and responsive. We would highly recommend this hideaway to anyone who values quiet and privacy, and we would love to come back and stay again.

    Quite and private getaway

    It was the ideal base camp for our six days of exploring Prince Edward Island. Wonderful rural area to relax and enjoy nature. Saw a family of Red Foxes, birds, and watched farmers planting their crops, all without driving away from the cottag!

    Well worth the trip

    A little hard to find as neither my GPS or the tourist map was any help. We asked for assistance from a kind citizen that escorted us to our destination. The cabin had all ammenities, well decorated and spotless. Miss Leslie is a perfect hostess.

    cleaning staff, please be more careful!

    We stayed in this cottage this past night (March 21st) - we expected it to be cleaned for our arrival - but under one of the beds in clear few was a pair of men's briefs - don't know how the cleaning staff could have missed this - it left us questioning - if a pair of men's briefs were in view part way under the bed - then how clean was the rest of the place - I paid over 200 dollars for one night - my husband and I expected a clean cottage when we arrived !!

    So lucky to get this last minute booking!

    My sister and I have been talking about visiting the area that is the setting for Anne of Green Gables books. This property had the nights we wanted to stay and was near to the sites we wanted to visit. The owner responded quickly to my request to book. The property was just as depicted and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay!
