Relaxing 2BR Retreat-Silver Sands Resort

RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #255S will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Laidback and relaxing

RELAXING- Comfortable, clean and has everything you need and more. Not an overly crowded area or beach. The sand, water and beach area were awesome, free chairs and umbrellas a plus. Staff very friendly and attentive. We’ll be back again soon! Highly recommend the Blue Dolphin for breakfast or lunch, just down the road.

What we needed

What was I wanted for a restful beach experience. Never looked around and thought something was out of sorts. Well maintained and sharp. Staff was attentive to a couple requests and we were just able to relax and enjoy our time.

Sisters getaway!

The rooms worked well for two sisters getting away for a few days. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, but could still enjoy the linai together. We found the rooms to be clean, and the kitchen had all the necessary things we needed. It was just a few steps to the beach, and when the sliding glass door was open, we could hear the ocean, otherwise most of the time it was very quiet. This resort is in a good location to restaurants, and both Bradenton and Sarasota. There was some confusion with the bill when it was time to check-out, but after a couple days, we were able to get it worked out. Thank you for some much needed time away with my sister.
