For older people there are stairs and on Saturday nights the pub next door played loud music until 12. The walk is 5 mins to shops but the hill is steep. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. Balcony or outdoor area for pleasant days.

First, the fact that when I booked the room it had a view but when the room keys were handed over it was a very ordinary room with no view of the bay was very disappointing. Second, at the time of booking it was not advised to me that there is a pub next door and that it will be playing live music at full blast till 11pm. This has been a very disappointing experience for us all. I contacted wotif team on Monday the 25th complaining about this and so far no one has come back to me.

We stayed in a balcony 2x double/queen room. It was clean and large for myself and 2 small children. Small milk on the fridge to start off the trip. Toaster, kettle, microwave and small stove top. We didn’t use these at all. With small children, I was assume due to fire regulations, the doors aren’t locked in the inside. So my young child (4 & 5) were able to open whilst I was in the bathroom etc. just to be mindful, this also included the balcony. I didn’t have much to do with the staff as I arrived late and left on a Sunday. We had plenty of towels etc. very close to the beach, and cafe/bakeries for easy access to food. Watch the cockatoos, they are bullies, and took food out of the hands of the children. Otherwise an overall pleasant experience. Would recommend

Room was very nice, the bed was amazing. Very clean and had everything you needed. The staff was very lovely, I’d sprained my ankle and the staff brought to my room an ice pack and a bandage after 9pm. Definitely recommend staying here, my partner and I had a great stay.

Lovely modern room, light and bright with great ocean views. Handy location, next door to the Lorne hotel, where we had a very nice dinner. The room was very clean and the bedding very comfortable. We would be happy to stay here again.

Bathroom tap leaked, spraying water out at us once tap turned off, was going to tell reception when checking out but reception was unattended. Struggled to get hot water for over half hr when trying to use spa. Towels thin/old, face washer had holes.
