The Venice Beach Bungalow is a perfect landing pad for anyone interested in exploring Venice! It is chic, filled with great light, has a warm open layout, and a wonderful outdoor space. You're a short walk from the boardwalk and the beach, and close to lots of great restaurants and shops. The property is very secure with the double gates! We had an issue with the power going out on the last night of our stay, and our host was very accommodating and even ordered some candles to be delivered to the bungalow.

Such a lovely place with excellent amenities. The outdoor bath was a great perk after a full day of exploring and hours at the beach. The steam shower was also an awesome feature that we loved! Great communication. And they went above and beyond to accommodate my random request for a hairdryer diffuser.

The place was amazing. Perfectly located being a 5-6 minute walk to the beach board walk. The owner actually was very helpful when I arrived. He even checked on me to be sure things were well. The place was very roomy and accommodations were great. The outside bathtub was the BEST! I will highly recommend this place. The price was right!

Comfortable and private spot close to the action of Venice Beach

Just four short blocks (along charming alleyways) to the action at Venice Beach (stores! restaurants! coffee! ice cream! people watching!). Everything from casual fish and chips to wonderful fine dining is a short walk away. The place was a respite from the excitement of the Boardwalk, or from the sun and sand on the spectacular beach. The private shaded front patio is a wonderful place to relax (or to have a soak in the outdoor bathtub). The living area, bedroom nook, kitchen area, and bathroom are all very conducive to relaxing.

Apartment is a perfect size for 2 with some great amenities (loved the outdoor bathtub and steam shower) and the location can't be beat. Unit definitely felt a little old and was lacking some basics such as paper towel, wine glasses and extra towels.

Great stay with a few comments

Stayed here with my teen daughter and we loved the place and great location, close to Abbott Kinney and the beach. Beautiful modern home with a VERY comfortable bed. The place did feel a little 'lived in' as a rental. The kitchen inventory needs a bit of updating. There were 2 spoons and 3 knives (not from the same set) and the kitchen organization was a little haphazard (glasses in a drawers, pots and pans in different cupboards etc). Would have loved a well equipped kitchen to cook proper meals but we very much appreciated the Nespresso machine and available oils and spices. Also the cabinets in / near the bathroom don't close well and need some adjustments. There is some mold in the shower and the hot water faucet keeps sliding down by itself, turning the water all the way to hot (which we held back with a hair tie!). I think with a little maintenance this place is perfect. Overall very enjoyable stay and very responsive host. Thank you!

Quick walk to the beach

This is a cozy little place that is dog friendly when arranged in advance. Venice beach boardwalk is a quick 5 min walk through the alleyways. It is 1 bathroom with a regular bathtub on the patio. They have a water kettle for hot water but only A few Lipton black tea bags. The Delonghi pod only produced what appeared to be discolored water. No condiments & all dishes, cups etc are in drawers. Closet space was 1/2 of half a shirt closet. & 2 drawers plus nightstands. There was stuff stored in other parts of closet & drawers. There is a rod by back door you can hang from but it is high up and blocks the only full length mirror & back door. They do have a broom & dustpan. Bed felt like an old futon mattress so was hard in places. Couch and dining chairs look nice- not comfortable for any length. Outdoor seating was very comfortable. If you have a car, hope it’s small as parking was very limited on the streets as many have 15 min max and we saw cars towed daily. Took 45 min to find a spot when we arrived. After that, we had daughter meet us and park her car in our spot to save the space for when we came back. There is a dog park 2 min away. Abundance of homeless in area, many of whom would shout profanity loudly on the sidewalk outside the gates. Couldn’t hear them from inside. Did hear all the cars if on the patio. Host was very responsive and the steam shower was wonderful. If walking around, be prepared to smell Pot everywhere especially near the beach.

Good communication with the manager. Enjoyed our time. Easy walk to the beach. Music system in the unit was unable to connect to Bluetooth. Otherwise great.

Such an incredible little hideaway. Amazingly designed and great location.

This property is truly a gem. It’s styled so well, user and eco friendly. It’s spacious with beautiful natural light. The bathroom steam is perfect after a day at the beach. Loved the amenities, just wish it was warmer to enjoy the outdoor space. To lock the house was a bit confusing, but the host was responsive and communicative. Would completely recommend staying here, cannot wait to do so again ourselves.

The outdoor space is the best! Location to the beach and walkability is a plus and indoor space is unusual and fun. Very comfortable- I would definitely book again.

Nice walkable location

Great two block from the beach location. Walking the named pathways to the beach is much more pleasant than the streets. Property manager responded quickly to inquiry email but was vague and didn't seem to know if there was a microwave? Needs some TLC maybe, the frig/freezer didn't work. Ice cubes never formed in three days and milk spoiled in the frig. Steam room and fireplace were great, pretty quiet for the location. Watch for when school is out for parking, it is tough otherwise.

Venice stay

The location is great in that it’s within walking distance to the beach and Abbott Kinney, but it is on a busy street with lots of traffic noise. That’s not something I’m used to. This part of Venice can also be sketchy, but the system of three different locking doors/gates really helped me feel secure. I would have liked access to a broom to sweep the outside area, steps and sidewalk as the berries that drop from the trees really make a mess. Also I was there for a week and could have used the broom to sweep inside, although I tried to keep any sand from the beach outside. The fireplace was great to give a little heat in the morning.

Fanastic Host! Quaint and Quiet bungalow nested near the beach!

The host was very accomodating and helped make pull off a Christmas surprise for my wife. We enjoyed the amenities, easy access to the property, communicative host, and close proximity to the beach and VB shops. We cannot wait to revisit the property!

Amazing stay a block away from Abbot Kinney

We spent a great week, located between the beach and abbot Kinney the house perfectly located. We were worried about street noise at first but the place is very quiet inside. Great decoration, and patio.
