Great location on W Sunset Blvd. A few blocks away from the Chinese Theater and Hollywood Walk of Fame. Also the Metro is there to get you around the city to avoid outrageous parking fees everywhere.

Location, free breakfast. The hotel rooms seemed to be updated even though the hotel is older.

I liked the fact that they offered 3 full size beds as one of the kids always sleeps on the floor in a sleeping bag. The room itself was excellent. Everything was clean and fresh. I was cold during the night, should have extra blankets in closet for that in the winter time. Also you couldn't adjust the air conditioner. No heat in room. Was very impressed overall and would book again and would recommend to others. Thank You.

Not worth the price

I’m never one to leave a negative review, but others need to be aware before booking here. The room’s heating/cooling operates on a remote controlled system only, which only worked some of the time. Hotel staff came up to try and fix it also, but couldn’t. I was offered a space heater. The room was so dark. Barely sufficient lighting. Only 1 mirror and it was in the bathroom above the tucked away sink, also no lighting there. Bathroom was huge but felt useless with no light or mirrors. Nice shower. Carpet, door and walls were very old and outdated. Door only had a turn lock. Nothing else for safety. Pool view was actually nice. No hot tub. Breakfast staff is EXTREMELY unfriendly. Arrive early because if you’re still up making your coffee or bagel at the time breakfast end rolls around, they pull it all down right from under you. Non English speaking as well. Location is ideal for walking during the day. At night feels unsafe and very open to public. Online pictures are falsely advertised.
