Our planned late arrival (10:30-ish pm) was… interesting. We try to choose Marriott based on consistent, higher-level facilities, neighborhoods, etc. This location was sub par to our typical experience. Lobby was clean & fresh, staff friendly & efficient, however, as we drove our car around to where our room was located, we noticed a lot (a LOT) of people just sitting, wandering around outside with seemingly nothing going on, watching us drive by (remember, it was 10:30 pm). Being from Chicago, we know what similar neighborhoods are like. Room was fine but older and a bit band-aided to appear more fresh & modern than it was. Surrounding area is very industrial and NOT in a city-type location with nice places to walk to for coffee, dinner, shopping, etc. Thankful we’re only here one night - couldn’t get out fast enough.

Great location in Torrnce

Fantastic staff, all so lovely and helpful. Hotel very clean in a wonderful location, very near to the fabulous shopping mall and about 15 minutes to the beautiful Redondo Beach. Would definitely return! One criticism would be a lack of coffee machine in reception, it would be nice to have coffee in the seating area after a busy day shopping!.

Staff was great except when I checked in I was asked if a double queen room was ok. I said I don’t want a double bed I need a queen for me and my husband. The front desk assured me it was 2 queen beds so I said ok. After unloading our truck of all our stuff upstairs we realized it was not queen beds they were full size! They were also not comfortable at all. Big disappointment

I did not like that I had to pay more $150 when I got there because their employees said I booked three a third party. I did not like they charged me $27.75 per day to park my car there . The room itself was clean and adequate. The bathroom was horrible it definitely needed upgrades. The grounds were clean and they did offer amenities which were great.

Overall Excellent stay!!

Breakfast every morning, swiming pool, jacuzzi, and really close to one of the biggiest malls in US, bbq area, 24hr gym, friendly staff, EV hook up, gated parking.... One thing i didnt like was the parking, why do you charge 28$ a night?? Not even an ocean front resort and i have to pay to park?? Other than that, everything was awesome!

Number of safety concerns throughout the property. Room 1011 had a staple/nail sticking out of the carpet near the kitchen/living room area. Numerous masonry blocks were loose and not secured in place. Not nearly enough personnel at the front desk.

Think twice before you stay at the residential Inn

Our 1st day and check-in when we got to the room, it was trash. That hadn't been empty. Day 2, the maid came in and half did the room? I have pictures of that. I had to go to the front office and complain about her services. They sent her back to clean the room again. She got mad, walked out and i opened up the door and asked her. Why did you slam the door if you would have? Did it right? The first time you would not have to come the front destier, called and asked about her services and I told him they're unacceptable, they did work with me to try to solve this problem. So I appreciate the front desks service then that night the knob. falls off of the door to the closet. Some of the rooms are outdated. The one I stayed in was outdated.
