The Barcelo was probably the worst food we have ever experienced. Both of us ended up with ecoli.

Everything was great, first thing I want to say I have been using the Barcelo hotels for a few trips, in Vallarta, Cancun and now in Cabo the problem was I made a reservation with one king bed superior room, sea view(great view by the way) but when I check in they gave us a room with two full beds, maybe it’s not a big deal, but yeah it it’s for me, so congratulations Barcelo you lost a loyal guest.

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos General Weather another lousy day in paradise Sunny and no rain mid 80s all week. Easy ride from the airport SJD Friendly staff In town of Los Cabos, which seems to be a nice quiet urban atmosphere. Able to walk around safely. I did not explore the entire town but felt comfortable walking around the street by the hotel. Checkin easy and desk professional Not too large with a homey atmosphere. All inclusive: Dinner Buffets always have something tasty to eat. Fish is excellent. Beef is good. Pork is excellent. Ribs are a delight. Excellent bread Good breakfast buffet. Fresh fruits. Good pastry. Crepes mmmgood. Tasty omelettes Pool service and bar/restaurant Excellent Service with tasty guacamole, french fries, and calamari Specialty Restaurants: Jicamas (Mexican) Food is excellent with delicate seasoning. More than enough to eat. Our waiter Javier provided dligent observant service. Anticipated our every need. Wine was tastey Merlot and Cabernet. I assume local. I know that I should order white with certain dishes but feel that reds are more medicinal. Espresso was okay but not creamy as I make. Gondola (Italian) Loved the meal. Again delicate seasoning. Plenty of food. Waiter Jose (Tony) Hernandez provided excellent observant service. Anticipated our needs. Beet Caprese appetizer was unique (I love beets) and excellent. Loved the Tomato Cream soup. Pasta Alfredo was light and not heavy. Lasagna was tasty. Pesce Florentine was wonderful

What I did not like food terrible buffet same thing every day not enough staff to service the tables activity the worst the night shows to short they only last 45 minutes nothing to do in that resort only go to eat the pool and go back to your room no fun I will not go back to that resort

Check-in took over an hour, only 2 staff. Very hot and humid. After check-in, on the way to the room, the elevator broke down and with luggage we have to take the stair :-( the ice machine also broken on all floors. We stay at the resort for 6 nights but only allow to dine 3 nights. The food was OK. Staffs speak broken English. Very limited entertainment during the day and night. Jacuzzi also broken. The property everything are broken.

The beach area and the pools are beautiful. I always do all inclusive and the foodcwas the worse i have ever had. The waiter staff at the pool bar is very good. The service at the buffets is terrible and the food is horrendous with limited selection and the same selection everyday. This is the first vacation i can say i lost weight.
