The bedroom was spotless. Everywhere was clean and the staff very helpful. But top marks go to the breakfast. Being a vegetarian i didnt expect much choice. However not only a cooked vegetarian breakfast but also a cooked vegan . Along with a buffet style, Ive not seen this before.

Over the last few years all my family have enjoyed visiting the Hatfield Hotel as the downstairs restaurant is lovely and the staff are always very welcoming. This is the first time I stayed for a few days and not only is it great value, the sea view and the sound of the waves coming in are exceptionally calming … it’s right on the beach so we saw the first light dawn in the most easterly place in the UK. It’s a treat.

I’d booked a deluxe room overlooking the sea view was great but room was very below standard the bed was like sleeping on a rock and the pillows were awful the bathroom was not the standard of a deluxe the shower was so hard to turn on/off tv too close to wardrobe and no plugs near the bed! Altogether very disappointing far too much money for what we had!
