Bien dans l’ensemble. L’emplacement est excellent. Le personnel est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très soigneux. Les sanitaires sont à mieux soigner.

Excellent hotel excellent rapport qualité prix

Hotel très très agréable et à 20 euros la nuit plus petit déjeuner, que dire. Le personnel est très avenant et sympathique, endroit parfait pour Luang Prabang

Bien mais...

Hôtel très sympa et très propre, très bien situé mais qui ne respecte pas forcément les réservations pourtant confirmées depuis de nombreux mois. Deux exemples durant notre séjour !

Hôtel parfait, pratique pour Tak Bat

Belle suite avec baignoire, la maison a du charme, baignoire, douche et literie très bien (surtout pour l’Asie du Sud-est). Emplacement super dans le meilleur quartier de Luang Prabang. Seul bemol l’emplacement du petit déjeuner pas très joli, et le petit déjeuner en lui-même qui pourrait être en peu plus qualitatif. mais l’ensemble est très bien, j’y retournerais. Je recommande.

I felt like this property was cheating on me, as I have booked this hotel but once I got to the hotel the staff informed that it closed for renovation and brouht me to the other hotel but THE LOCATION that they pin on the Expedia is the hotel that they brought me there. If this is an accident that they foegot to close sell for the renovation, the location should be at the hotel! ***They brought me to Mekhong Charm Hotel (maybe same owner) I did not know anything about this property, they just appology for that incident and gave me the room that I never booked, as I have booked for the double bed room but they good enough, to give me one more bed! Its totolly fine! The staff there were very nice and friendly, I love all of them. Only 1 annoying thing that the wifi was down on the 2nd night of my stay and I was told by the staff that they were trying to fix it till I check out, its been down. :-(

Odd stay

The hotel I booked was not the one I stayed at. When I got there, the hotel I booked was locked up. The locals (who spoke no English) basically told me it wasn't open, and to go down the street. I followed one who took me, and 2 blocks away was the hotel's sister property. I was staying there apparently. They had no kitchen and I had to change rooms midway through my stay for some reason. Breakfast was fine, except they had to run and get it from somewhere because.... No kitchen. So, it was very disjointed. The property itself was ok, just not what I booked.

I booked for 4 nights and decided to extend one more night for less expensive option. The hotel upgraded the last night so I didn’t have to pack up and move to a smaller room. Several options to choose from breakfast menu. Always brought out a glass of orange juice and delicious fruit cups. Instant coffees and teas 24 hours at the breakfast area in addition to some at the room. Very convenient to Mekong river walk, many Wats, night market and morning market. At 5:45 am, you get to see monks going for Alms giving around the corner. One of the staffs, Air, was very helpful. Will stay again when I have a chance to visit Luang Prabang.

Great location and quiet! Everything is walking distance apart from kuang si falls which you can book from hotel to pick you up. Staff friendly and very helpful and breakfast was also good. Would defiantly stay again and recommend!

Mi aspettavo di più

Hotel per niente male con personale molto gentile, ma con alcune pecche. Non vengono fatte le pulizie giornaliere, né rifatti i letti né tantomeno cambiati gli asciugamani. Doccia con scarico intasato. Struttura di doccia e WC che non consente la necessaria privacy.Ottima posizione.

Positives: friendly staff, great location, pretty looking hotel, clean. Negatives: not enough hot water for showers, and consequently hot tub in 'suite' unuseable, overpriced for what it offers, small breakfast, TV didn't work, no windows in the suite. Overall, if you book a regular room and don't pay more than $50 per night it is probably ok. The 'suite' is a rip off, don't bother paying the extra.

受付がゆっくりであるが、落ち着いた英語で対応してくれて感じが良かった。メイン通りに接していないが、ルアンパパーンは小さな町なので、どこに行くにも困らない。

We had a very pleasant stay here. Quick and easy at time of check in and check out. Breakfast was lovely. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The locations n is great! Would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel was clean and service was very good ...until....one of us was showering the second day of our stay (we were two female friends traveling together) ... and a silver iPhone appeared in between the wooden slots of the vent in the shower to film us. There is NO way this was an accident and was VERY intentional. Whomever did this, knew what he was doing and had likely done this before. Unfortunately this really put a bad taste of Luang Prabang and made us feel very violated and uncomfortable which was disappointing and did not fit with the rest of our time there. Be very careful staying in room 101 as the room backs up to the alley where the staff works so it is noisy and provides access for perverts to film in the shower. The owner needs to provide better assurance and protection to its guests, along with training of respect of women to its staff. I hate to write this as the rest of the stay was good however all future travelers MUST be aware.

Quiet and Friendly Stay Near Everything

I liked my four-night stay at the Chitchareune. It's location is perfect if you like the quiet area on the north side of the ancient sector of Luang Prabang. It's a 2 min walk to the main street and just behind the road along the river dotted with many temples, cafes and restaurants. The few staff members at the hotel always greeted me with smiles and kept the hotel functioning well. For being a 3 star, the hotel is decent. Although I appreciated the size of my room with air conditioning and the bed very comfortable, I would have liked a window. The picture on Hotel.com of the room implied a terrace, but there is not one from the room. Also, the large jet-tub that I was initially tempted by I did not use. Overall I had a good stay and would stay at this hotel again.
