Pleasant accomodations

This stay was an odd combination of “excellent” and “okay.” For the two-story facility, there were trolleys but no elevators. For the 3-story “extended stay” facility, there were elevators but no trolleys. Heat and air conditioning was okay, but a little feisty. Beds were comfortable. Cleanliness was top notch. Refrigerator had no freezer compartment. The nights were nice and quiet. We were given a “suite” in extended stay since we are elderly and couldn’t manage the stairs in the main building. It was roomy and nice for the reduced Hotels.com price.

I was happy with my stay at the Ashmore. It's been ten years since I last stayed there, and it's aging a little. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. The halls didn't give a good impression. Breakfast was okay, but the coffee was weak. The room had a Keurig, do that helped.o

Had an issue with TV remote in the room. The channels would not change unless I pointed the remote from the side of the table that the TV was on to interact with the Direct TV receiver attached to the back of the table.

from what I've been told there is new owner. It's obvious the new owner is "milking" the property interior & exterior is rundown / unkept this used to be my go to property, but no longer I'm finding a new hotel breakfast used to be fantastic, now no good. I went to mcdonalds each morning & paid for starbucks each day. even their coffee sucks i will say the front desk staff was extremely friendly & helpful my room had a lingering odor from maybe food ... don't know had to go to store to buy room freshener spray. had to spray tuesday & wednesday i checked in on monday & checked out on thursday

Great room, Great price, Convenient location!

We were not sure what to expect because we got the room at such a great rate. We just needed a place to rest our heads on a long road trip. We were pleasently surpried The Ashmore was one of the nicer rooms we have stayed in for several years. The bed was comfy and the room nice-sized. The location was excellent; very close to dining and shopping with easy access to the freeway. Check-in was a breeze with a friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Lubbock!

This time around bed was very uncomfortable and mattresses need to be replaced. Was not able to get comfortable to get some rest on either bed. Mattresses had huge indentations on either said of both beds so made us toss and turn all night
