A basic mediocre stay.

I stayed alone and my overall first impression of my room was somewhat underwhelming. There was a strange odor most likely from the old carpets and the bed sheets felt somewhat rough and stale along with the towels which shedded on me. The microwave and curtains also did not work and the mini-fridge was busted and barely kept things cool. I was told the pool was open from 10am-10pm but when I went outside to swim the pool still hadn’t been cleaned. There was dirt covering the steps inside the pool along with leaves both on top and below the water. I was a little bummed because I had gotten a new suit hoping to swim. Overall a basic review, the staff were helpful and courteous but the hotel itself was somewhat outdated or in need for some TLC.

Room was smelly like cigarettes and feet and the cable was out. There was broken furniture and stains on the walls and door jams. There was visible water damage above one of the beds and no apparent attempt to fix any of it.

We had stayed here many times while in Lubbock for medical reasons, always very clean, breakfast was always so good. Not so much this time, couch in room was dirty, chairs in breakfast area are stained, breakfast was not as it once was. Juice machine didn’t work so bottles of juice found in frig. Just was so disappointed with the property in general. We will have to find another location for future medical trips.

the man that worked the front desk was amazing and courteous however when we entered the hallways at the adjacent building it was like walking into a suana that also smelled like someone had been smoking a lot of marijuana. Entering the elevator we found where the person had sprayed the weed smell off of themselves before entering the second floor because it smelled a tad better in there. Whatever he sprayed clearly missed him or he decided to light up again because when entering the 2nd floor it was yet again an overwhelming stench of Marijuana. The sauna that we entered had also led into the room we stayed, but turning on the A/C fixed that so it's no big deal but it was approximately 78 degrees in there until that point. Walking around the bed i couldnt help but feel like the floor was unlevel from the bed to the wall, but that couldve just been me, so i drank some water and placed the half drank bottle and placed on the night stand to confirm my suspicions and sure enough I was right.

The Air-conditioned room felt like a sauna, it got so hot around 3 in the morning that my wife and i slept in our truck because there was no other room to move to. Not to mention the black water that ran from the bathtub faucet and the 2 other sinks also. Then the whole 3 story building smelled like a Marijuana factory was on fire.

Check-in was so easy the front desk staff was very polite and very welcoming. Overall I love my stay. I got a good nights rest. I would definitely recommend this motel to family and friends.
