I love this hotel. I love the happy hour, the design of the room, the check-in was wonderful and easy! The only thing I noticed is mold in the grout in the bathroom and the living room furniture is torn and chipped. I love the location and the hotel in general- just expected finer furnishings and no mold for the price point.

The room needs some updating. The bathroom faucet doesn’t work properly, the carpets need cleaned, and the AC in the rooms is limited. The positives are the breakfast and service of the staff. They are very friendly and accommodating.

This location did not have their ac/heating system switch to heat and it was cool and had no choice in the matter. Otherwise the personnel were friendly and very accommodating.

Mold, vomit, and broken furniture

I'm not sure where are these reviews about cleanliness are coming from, but this was NOT our experience. Everything was worn, outdated, moldy and gross. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the rooms were not nice at all. There was vomit on the floor between the bed and the wall. Not sure how long it had been there. The mattress on the pullout sofa was all busted. Dirty floors and dirty furniture.

I had to go back down to the desk 3 times because my key wouldn’t work. They said they would send a maintenance man which I waited for15 minutes and had to go back down to the desk to let them know he hadn’t showed up. Once I finally got in my room it smelled extremely musty. The carpet looked dirty and felt wet. Then the remote didn’t work for the TV. We didn’t get maid service the whole 5 days we were there. I asked for it but they never came. I had to keep asking for new towels. The breakfast was amazing! The staff were all pleasant and professional. The pool area was nice. If I were to come back to Lubbock I would definitely look at staying somewhere else, especially considering the price.
