The sun-filled apartment sleeps 6 people. The living room has a large glass door that leads out onto a private covered terrace with a wooden table and six chairs and stunning views out over the city and mountains. Back indoors, the stone-floored living area has a contemporary sofa, a flat screen Smart TV and dining table with six seats. The open plan kitchen is well equipped and you will find everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Nespresso machine.

Location
The city of Lugano is famous for its stunning setting, nestled between the mountains and the beautiful Lago Lugano. Its location, right on the borders of Switzerland and Italy, has given it a rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20 minute walk) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. After a day of culture, visitors head to the city’s main square, the Piazza della Riforma, to enjoy one of the many cafés and watch the world go by.

A day trip on the Lago Lugano should not be missed, neither is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake.

For business travelers, the apartment is just an 11 minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18 minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano.

The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 25 minute walk from the apartment.
