Bed matresses were like thin mats . The whole room was a dorm room . Bed had slats box springs . All hotel/ motel/ Air b n b are selling is clean and mattress I wouldn’t suggest this one get new mattresses

Our cottage was very clean, spacious, comfortable and had amazing waterfront views. In our case, we seemed to have an issue where the electrical outlet on one side of the bed was unreliable. We resolved it by using a different one to charge the cellphone.

We had a wonderful stay! Our motel room was clean, quiet, and bright with two large windows offering stunning views of the pond and ocean. We even spotted the Bluenose sailing by! This place has earned its spot as our go-to destination when visiting Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester, and Oak Island. We highly recommend booking the Bluenose Sailing 2 1/2 hour tour and Oak Island Tour ahead of time, as they're extremely popular and sell out fast!

We booked a cottage with queen bed. (The blue cottage) It's tiny, with a queen bed, refrigerator, microwave, eating area, bathroom with shower. Everything is tiny. The cottage is immaculately clean & you are encouraged to keep it that way (broom & dustpan, towel to wipe up spills). There is a BBQ available, and great views of the water to view the tall ships sail by! The electric outlets are a bit concerning. There is an outlet right next to the kitchen sink (not GFI), and one above the bed with a light that we were unable to turn off. We arrived early for our booking & were told rather abruptly that check in was 3PM. No offer to hold our luggage while we went into town. We really had no other interaction with the motel owner during our visit. But, the lady who cleans rooms was very friendly and even exchanged our wet towels for fresh ones. The motel is a distance from downtown Lunenburg. I think a bit far to walk. So, you likely need to drive in & park. And parking can be quite a challenge as the town can get very crowded. This is a very nice cottage in the motel if you are prepared for a small space.

Nice quiet location out of the busy town. Room spacious with bedroom and kitchen area divided. Suggestion to owner: trim your bushes on road, although it's a very quiet road, it's hard to see around the corner.

We booked a 1 night stay in order to he close to Digby for our early morning BluNOSE Ii sailing. Hotel is okay and very clean. Location is inconvenient as there road conditions are poor and you cannot walk into town. There were no BBQ facilities unless you rented a cabin and the bathrooms were extremely small. Not recommending to family or.friends.town

The efficiency cottage we stayed in was absolutely immaculate and looked out over part of the Lunenburg Bay area. It was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable as was the bedding. Great location with easy access to the historic section of Lunenburg as well as access to exit routes to highways. We would absolutely recommend this motel!
