Overall we felt very uncomfortable with the cleanliness and state of this property. We were first checked into a room that wasn't cleaned with dirty towels and garbage. When we went back to reception he said they were full but had one room he could get us in. When my son got out of the shower and pulled out the towel, clumps of hairs fell out of it. At that point, he just waited to air dry and I didn't even bother trying to shower. Also, the furnishings and carpet were very dated and worn. I realize the property is in the beginning phases of renovations but it should have happened way sooner. This property is not up to standards I've seen with other Hampton Inns and makes me not trust the brand at this point. We just didn't feel clean there.

Bathroom floor was sticky, we had to use disinfecting wipes o our hands/ knees to clean. The rest of the room was clean however the king mattress was TERRIBLE worn out ready for a dumpster. Furnishings were soiled, old and worn out. We were in town for a wedding and this was the hotel chosen by bride. One night we suffered with it, paid over $200 for a room only worth $60. Front desk mgr Andrew was great in every way. We had no time to complain as our time was tight with wedding schedule.

The property is a bit dated but is being renovated - so should be nicer soon. The staff are vwry friendly and the room and property overall were very clean. One downfall is the property is next to the highway and is very loud if you like a quiet room.

excellent except for 2 things. 1st was noise level. we had trouble sleeping because we had truck traffic plus elevator noise. 2nd. housekeeping did not do anything in our room, not even to take out trash.

Had a nice stay, thought the property was fine. Only issue was at breakfast, it closed at 10:00 we got there 9:40. At that time, the omelets were empty, no more breakfast meats. I asked for more, the girl said they were finished for the morning. I really enjoy the Hampton Inn breakfasts, but that was a downer.

Parts of the hotel were under construction for up grades to the hotel. Our room was still very quiet. My 9yr & 7yr boys loved the breakfast in the morning and the pool! We stayed at this hotel to be close to Luray Caverns. My boys did not want to leave the hotel. They enjoyed the hotel more than the caverns, Would really recommend and like to go back.
