Can’t believe a 4 star hotel has room without A/C. It was 30c when we were there. We had no choice but open the windows and got mosquito bites badly. The reception said the room we booked was a standard room which has no A/C. They were fully booked that we weren’t able to upgrade to different room.
The washroom sink was totally blocked. First, the front desk said the maintenance guy was off work already we would need to wait till next morning. I told him I didn’t expect that I can’t clean myself after 15 hours flight. He then became the plumber, drained the blockage.
We parked on the street overnight free behind the building. You would need some luck to find a spot 6pm - 8am.

We apologize for the issue you have experienced during your stay.
Unfortunately it is still possible for 4 star hotels to have rooms without an airconditioning. A Airconditioning is not required for a 4 star hotel. As you have already written we had no possibility to move you to a Superior room with airconditioning due to the fact we where fully booked.
We apologize for the receptionist that had the intention of leavinf the sink blocked untill the next day. this is a easy fix so they should have come up to fix the sink without any pressure from your part.
We find that this is not the service NH hotel group stands for. We hope to have you as our guest the next time you visit maastricht so we can show you that we do provided a better service than you have experienced now.
