This is a small facility practically on campus of Western Illinois University, and super convenient to downtown Macomb. The staff is efficient and friendly. The room was as advertised; clean and comfortable. Good stay for budget travelers! My only complaint would be that the outside west entrance door (closest to the dumpster) did not latch closed and lock. But there didn’t seem to be a lot of traffic in this area, so I guess it wasn’t a big problem.

Fine, affordable choice for short stays in Macomb

The hotel owners obviously take pride in their property, and husband/wife/children were always around to help. Location was great, especially for any guest connected to Western Illinois U. Motel is just north of downtown, so it's easy to get to restaurants/shopping etc. Area is peaceful (in summer at least) and rooms in back look out at grass and trees. Only negatives were hearing other guests clumping around in the room above and the oddly lumpy layer under the room carpet.

Good place to stay for Seniors

Really great, quiet clean place. Staff was friendly and pleasantly attentative. No street or factory noise, and most guests left relatively early from this safe neighborhood. We will be staying again.

Burn Baby Burn

It is what it is. Room smell was off. Big iron burn stain on the carpet. If my wife was there we would have had to leave the hotel.

We only stayed 1 night to visit our kids in college. Everything for WIU was 5 mins away so that was very nice. The room was clean and a normal hotel room. Nothing spectacular but comfy and clean.

The owner was very nice letting me use the office computer to sign in to the airlines to get my confirmation print-outs. The TV clicker in my room sucked. 1st day there I had to call down and have someone come up and turn my TV on. Had trouble all weekend. Maybe needed new batteries?

Tired hotel

The hotel is "tired." it was clean and the breakfast bar was good. The room smelled overly perfumed. The room key did not work and I had to return to the desk every time I returned to my room. The attendant had to open the room for me with a master key every time.
