VARU was dreamy!
I typically won't do two trips to the same place (unless family is involved) because there's so many places I want to see BUT I may just have to go back to VARU it was so good!
I had a villa with private pool over the water and it was spectacular! I loved how quiet and private it was, despite having neighbors on both sides. It was exactly as pictured online.
The staff at VARU were great but specifically the following four:
Arsham (room host): he was very knowledgeable, offered sound advice when I was choosing my excursions and booked them accordingly.
Janaka (room attendant): kept my room so clean and put together and was so kind when he would see me in passing. You could tell he took pride in his job.
Anamika (Chili & Lime): she has this amazing smile and was so nice to greet me every time she was working, even if I wasn't her table. Her attention to detail and excellent service should be noted!
Janani (Chili & Lime): always had a smile on her face and greeted most of the guests by name. She always made me feel like I was just as important as the couples and families.
I really appreciated that although the resort was filled with families and couples that I didn't feel like an outcast as a solo female traveler. I was seated where I requested and given the same outstanding service as everyone else.
