if location, location, location was the most important signifier, then this property is a superstar. It is right in the middle of a wonderful collection of restaurants and bars, and shops all within short distances. Additionally, when we had a problem early on with the ingress and egress to the building, it was easy to contact the property owner and get an immediate positive response. However, from there, our experience was less wonderful. The building is a little funky. The apartment, while quite charming, lacked some amenities that would have made it much more livable. firstly, the handheld showerhead does not have a hook to put it on when you want to soap up so you either have to turn the water on and off or let the thing squirt water everywhere while you try to work with bath gel or shampoo, etc., etc. The bath towels were quite worn. There were only two small white pillows for the bed with all the other pillows being hard upholstered pillows. Quite uncomfortable. The bedroom needs another small table on one side of the bed and someway to give people in the bed who want to read a light to read by. As it was, you had the entire room lit or there was no reading to be done in bed. The apartment was very pretty, as Garrett apartments go, but it must be emphasized that those ceilings are really slanted. In the four days we were there. I banged my head but good at at least five times.
