We are happy to announce our latest official 2026 Certified Wildlife Habitat® site with the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Conservation Alliance!

Check in is after 4 pm, check out is at 11 am. A valid photo ID is required via text PRIOR to arrival. We charge $35 per person ( above the max registered allowed guests/ outside visitor.All guests must be registered and paid for two days in advance, including any visitors. Military and police / fireman appreciation discount (ID req). We also provide a 20% repeat 5 star guest discount~we love our repeat visitors!

We booked the property and were later asked to modify our confirmed reservation due to a double booking—the host had promised early access to a wedding party on our checkout date. While we couldn’t change dates, we agreed to vacate the guest house by 8am so the wedding group could access it by 9am. We also agreed to allow cleaners into the main house kitchen at 9am while we packed to leave by our original 11am checkout. For this, we were offered a discount, but after two follow-ups, we received no response and let it go.Upon arrival, we found broken glass around the hot tub—a concern with six young children. The host responded with the location of a broom, but no apology. That night we saw roaches in the kitchen, and again the next morning. The host’s solution was to use outdoor wasp spray inside—again, no apology or proper remedy.On checkout day, we left the guest house at 8am. At 9am, 20–30 strangers (the wedding group) entered not only the guest house but the main house too, moving our food and walking through the space. We felt overwhelmed, unsafe, and pressured to leave quickly with small children amidst strangers. The host arrived with donuts, which felt dismissive. A guest had to ask the host to keep the wedding party out of the main house. Cleaners hovered while we packed, creating a chaotic, uncomfortable end to a trip we spent thousands on.

Spacious, Great Activities

Our group had a wonderful stay at Alma’s place. It was full of activities that keep you entertained for days. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Alma was a wonderful host as well, extremely accommodating of timing and even coming to the house to drop off extra grill supplies! Highly recommend staying here for your next group gathering.

Groomsmen From Out of Town

My son got married in Conroe. He, the groomsmen and all his family stayed here. We are all from out of town! It was very spacious. Everyone got to hangout prior to the big event while enjoying privacy as well. Everything was lovely. Thank you for having us!

Thanksgiving Family Retreat

We filled the house with family from near and far. The house accommodated the large group and had plenty of space. This is a huge probably with plenty of room. We hiked, had lovely fires outside, played lots of yard games, loved the hot tub and used the BBQ! Property needs some work, but the property owners are clearly working on it and very wonderful!

Lovely property

Great house on beautiful land. We enjoyed walking the property and fishing in the pond. The house was comfortable with plenty of room to accommodate an even larger group than ours. There are a couple of minor repairs needed, but the host was made aware and is working on them. We didn’t want to bother the host about it Saturday, but the pool could have had a more thorough cleaning. After notifying them, they would have been willing to have a pool cleaner come to service it. Overall communication was easy.
