As we arrived there was cocroaches at the reception and when we got to our room it looked like a room that was not prepared. No toilet paper in the bathroom. No hangers in the walldrobe. Worst of all as we were planning to sleep we were stung by bed bugs in this day and age. We switched on the lights only to see bedbucks and as we were fighting a big spider that felt on the bed. We decided to rather sleep in the car. The following morning when we went for breakfast i there was no one assisting us. When they came to attend us the standard of the food was very low. We decided to checkout immediately with no refund given. I would not wish what i experienced there for anyone... Its really bad....bed bugs in this day and age

REMOVE ZAI OAT HOTEL FROM HOTEL.COM
On arrival at around 18h45 I was told that they did not receive any confirmation from Hotel.com and were fully booked. They tried to chase me away however I refused since I had no where to go having travelled about 800 kilometres only to be chased away. It took them more than an hour to sort my accommodation, after forwarding them the confirmation sent to me Holtel.com. I have booked a king size room, but ended sleeping on a double bed, which means I paid so much for nothing. The so-called hotel is not in the state of accommodating guests, shower doors are falling apart, no hot water, towels are stinking. In all fairness they should not be in business until they are certified and approved by tourism South Africa and the municipality respectively. On their website it says they have a restaurant, unfortunately I was unable to access, breakfast is served in the rooms, so you even question the cleanliness of their kitchen. So I slept without food on my arrival date. The room locks are poor and not safe at all because the person with a master key can open the room even when a guest is inside. On the second day guests were making noise and attempted to open were my door, this happened around 19h00 and had to shout In the middle of the night the same happened, and I felt very unsafe. PLEASE REMOVE THEM FROM THE LIST OF HOTELS UNDER YOUR NAME TO SAVE YOUR REPUTATION.

I dnt even know where to start. Arrive and they didnt expect us, they wntd to gv a standard room whereas we booked for executive room. Waited at the reception, the manager ran away instead of addressing us. Finally assisted got a room. No door on the shower glass, uncontrollable shower head, almost about to fall faucet , u hv to balance it so that water cannot spill outside the basin, no towels at all, when requested, we were rold they were still in the laundry not yet clean. 2nd day no water and mind u we were going to a wedding, took a bath in a bucket 😂😭 cos there was no way we could go without hvn a bath. Worst part other guests checked out without showering 🚿 and they were so pissed 😤. Broken water pump 😢. We were so annoyed breakfast was out of the question, we had pizza🍕 for breakfast. I think they have only 1 iron cos house keeping kept on asking us if we had it 🤔 They had backup generators for electricity 😍👏 Overall the place looks gud 👍 and it has so much potential if only the directors can take it serious and maintain their property and their business. It can be the best in the area. Infact seemingly it is 1 of the best so they neglect it knowing that it has community support especially youth cos it has beautiful entertainment area. Hire more people to clean and maintain the area and u will get good reviews and lots of influx but ppl still see it as affordable but leave very disappointed 😞. Key point mantain ur property and it will be perfect
